Sorry to hear about the geos. When you first went thru this, your advice to use levamisole saved mine and I haven’t had any more issues. Hope your issue is gone as well!

Wow, Joanna's aquascaping skills keep getting better and better! The combination of the striped rocks and light sand goes so well together. The placement looks natural and pleasing to the eye, and the few subtle crypts in the back really pull everything together. The rocks also complement the Julidochromis' pattern really well too. Good job Jo!

Aha....it's a Golden Mbuna without the attitude....looks like I'll have to look for some of these guys. So you have them in a 20g long? The meds and temperature approach is certainly interesting. Do you know specifically the bacterial infection that hit that tank, because if it's mycobacteria I don't know how effective the meds would be. Don't get me wrong, I'm no specialist in bacterium, but like most old fishkeepers I have run across gram negative bacteria in the past. Anyway, the Julidochromis ornatus are looking good for the empty 20g I have, or Neolamprolagus pulcher. Thanks for a great upload Jason 👍

Nice to meet you on Saturday at Aquashella. Yeah, I hate black beard algae and have a small problem of it in my discus tank. I am going to go black out one strip (of 3) on my LED light strip (on timer). This worked before on my smaller tank. I hope it does here. Beautiful planted discus tank and then black beard algae. Must fix it! I am kinda anal retentive...

Set up new tank 3 weeks ago and finally got a blue dwarf gourami and 4 mollies... 2 male and 2 female. Im planning to get more females in the future. Any thoughts? The fish are staying on the top, though. Should i be concerned?and the gourami is staying and the bottom and coming up fir air sometimes . I have a 20 high tank
@PrimeTimeAquatics5 жыл бұрын
Mollies can get big (4-5") and often when they do the males can be aggressive.
@rifraf61355 жыл бұрын
@@PrimeTimeAquatics one of the males died. I put up a video on my channel about the tank. What would you recommend? The gourami is at the bottom quite a bit. The 3 mollies are constantly at the top an sometimes take a mouth of air at the surface. Wwyd?

are Julies ok with Angels and Danios?

From a temperament perspective they will usually work with danios. They may attack the angels though.
