New Tata Harrier Review: Many flaws gone, vastly improved | TOI Auto

Tata Motors has updated its Harrier and Safari SUVs. The two now get updated styling and additional equipment and we got a chance to drive them both. In this video, we shall focus on the more affordable option of the two - the Tata Harrier. The SUV now gets a split grille setup at the front along with connected sequential DRLs. Even the tail lamps are now connected and get a fresh look.
On the inside, the Harrier gets a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with a 10-speaker JBL sound system. The dashboard has a new layout. There is a new steering wheel unit with a backlit Tata logo and a new fully digital MID that can even display Google Maps. The engine configuration, however, remains the same as before. This knee problem is only whn u sit too high and pull ur seat infront...i nvr faces this issue...none of my tall friends face this issue as well Whoever has a good leg reach sitting back.... May be the car is designed for tall drivers only😅

i have faced this on the test drive so did my friend who are of average height, and yes this problem can be managed slightly by keeping seat to lowest possible seating but the knee will still brush the dashboard and it's super annoying, I can't look past this flaw despite this car being best in all other segment compared to competition.

Put ur seat back and u won't have the knee problem .I'm a 6 footer and I didn't find a problem with it 🤷🤷

Oho!!!! Waoooo!!!! What an ingenious idea, “Put your seat back, u won’t have the knee problem” Brother, it’s a car, let me inform you, and if u go back then your feet’s do not reach the brake and accelerator paddle , get a car and you know what he is referring to. What do u think? Why he said that? He said that coz it’s a problem which exists with the HARRIER and SAFARI from day 1, since its launch. Tata people have not been able to do away with this problem, it’s very shocking. The reason why Tata have not done away with the knee issue is because, Tata has only focused only on the COSMETIC CHANGES and not the ERGONOMICS PART, like always it’s a half hearted attempt from Tata.

Biju Bora is right. Only tall PPL face this problem, and they are able to reach the paddles when seat is pushed back.
