What does the boot up screen look like? Does it show the TLYard logo similar to the Hansshow version setup? I see there is an option with or without speakers. Do you have the one with speakers and how do they sound?

It shows an outline of a car and not the Tlyard logo. I have the no speaker option so I can’t speak too the one with speakers

Thank you for the in-depth video on this rear screen. One thing I am holding out for is for this to come with Bluetooth Auracast which enables an unlimited number of Bluetooth headsets to simultaneously connect and listen to it. Auracast has started to come out in some consumer products and I was wondering if you know Tlyard will eventually include Bluetooth Auracast in the next update to this rear screen?

FYI TO ALL, the HOLIDAY UPDATE will BREAK the sync of the HEATED SEATS CONTROL in this display with the main display. What I mean is, the rear display will still work and turn on the heated seats, BUT if you go on the main display and go to the rear HVAC controls it will show all the seats (no matter which you turned on from the rear display) as ALL OFF. AND THEN, if you then touch one of the rear seat heat FROM THE MAIN DISPLAY, it will override whatever you had on in the rear, and change to what you selected on the main screen. But what you do from the MAIN SCREEN, will sync properly in the rear. BUT AGAIN, NO LONGER VICE VERSA, the rear WONT SYNC with the front screen status. This both worked properly BEFORE THE HOLIDAY UPDATE. So the rear display manufacturer must do a software/firmware update to theirs. It still works, but now feels sloppy to not sync up properly.

@moialder252 Can you test to see if you display will connect to an iPhone hotspot without any issues. I can't get it to work on my unit. And I also can't sign into KZbin TV. Maybe you can try that as well?

I have same issues with connecting wifi hotspot from any iphone 15 or 15 pro. It doesn’t work with new iphone. I think because they turn off configuration of IPv6 of the device :(.

This issue is still there for me (wifi version). For me also the temperature setting is not syncing (the same issue; someone can change the temperature from the back seat and it will change the temperature in the car but the main display will not show this temperature (change)). I contacted the seller (despite the promise for OTA I understood there are none) and received an update file from the seller which I installed from USB drive; this update file did however not resolve any of the sync issues.

Can you try and see if you can sign into KZbin TV? And do you have any issues with connecting to an iPhone hotspot from the rear display?

I don’t have KZbin TV so I can’t try signing in There is an KZbin TV app I can download though. Sometimes I have issues connecting to hotspot. I usually “forget network” and then enter it again

@@Teslatainment Forgetting the network doesn't fix the issue I've tried that. Every other device can connect to my iPhone hotspot without any issues except this rear display. Are you able to try to connect to your iphone hotspot and see if it works?

@@theceo_3805 No I haven't found a fix yet. Let me know if you do as well. I really think this big issue should be point out by these influencer reviews and put pressure on the manufacturer. Multiple people have confirmed this same issue at this point.

only works with 1 bluetooth headphone, you can turn off the screen, there is a button for it. but it wont stay off, once car turns on again it will be on. there is no auto-off.

This unit can’t no longer connect to iPhone hotspot. Anyone experiencing same issue?? No OTA update to fix this issue as well. Useless if can’t be connected while driving.

Oh no! It should be able to connect while driving. From your phone, have you tried resetting it? Then turning off/of wifi before turning on the personal hotspot? I'd also try "forgetting the network" on the rear screen.

@@Teslatainment Hi, I did try but unfortunately it does not work. This issue is with IOS 17.3 and onwards. It works only when connecting to and older device running older iOS. Have you tried it and does it work for you?

Hot spotting is a no go for me. I’ll keep waiting until a 3rd party figures this out or someone figures out how to jimmy a highland screen into the older models.

I’m not sure. The back seat can only control the front passenger. Not the driver. You could also not connect the wire to the seat. So they can’t control it

no you cannot. and as mentioned its only to control the passenger side, not the driver. if you think its going to be bothersome, you dont have to hook up the wire, just makes the install way simpler.

@@Vashishth67 NO aftermarket part works with tesla connectivity, and they never will unless someone hacks it. If tesla opened up the $100 a year connectivity plan to be used for other devices it would congest their network im sure and at the price being paid would definitely be a steal and something they didnt design for it to do. So you will have to hot spot from yoru pone

Tbh i would rather just buy two tablets like mid tier amazon fire, and 2 high quality tablet holders, and put them on the back of the front seats. 2>1 if you have kids, itll be less costly overall, theyll have way better displays, and I always though that this center console rear screen location is just asking to get the F kicked out of it. Dont really care about adding seat and hvac controls to the back seats.

this screen is a complete piece of garbage. you cannnot connect it to the internet in the tesla. there is no product support whatsoever. theres not even a company name anywhere on the packaging or the instructions. the only thing it is good for is climate controls. somehow the screen manages to do the exact opposite of what you want it to do. want to connect to bluetooth? only when you dont want it to. answer your phone? goes to the back screen. put music on. it goes to the back screen
