Good review content. I have a suggestion... You may make a video on incase of accedents what steps needs to follow. How to avoid the vehicle being taken to police station. In which situation it can't be avoided. If taken to police station how to release the vehicle faster. If we are caught up in another state how to handle the situation. Can we run from the spot or report to another police station if any incident happens in a remote village etc.. This may be useful as many are driving outstation today.. you may involve a police officer and a lawyer in the discussion....

More than 90% of people owners of Thar ( even Jimny) won't use it for off roading. It is only for the macho image and presence for major owners. After the introduction of RWD Thar , 4X4 version booking has reduced very much. So too bring interest in 4WD version this is just a repackaged version with different color scheme. Otherwise it is the same model only..

Good review!! It's a welcome aspect regarding the addition of MSD. Definitely only on very extreme offroading low gear has to be used,but this MSD is more than enough for offroading in the 4 wd High position. Earlier I sourced the MSD from old spares shop were exarmy are taken from auction and sold. It's performance was awesome. Very rarely low gear was used.

It is MLD in Thar. Low range gives more torque which is crucial in tricky situations to come out or climb an obstacle which wont be possible in 4Hi. I have been off roading for more than 20 yrs and driving a vehicle with 305bhp with front and rear diff locks, still the he use of low range is ..different level which can be felt while climbing huge and very soft desert dunes.
