@@User-is2kf Not sure what that has to do with her wasting 50k "developing" a camera that's existed for decades though. There's nothing new or unique about it. And I don't know about Australia, but in the US, 1 hour development is nearly non existent anymore. Like you said it's targeted towards the younger generation, but they are also the least likely to want to wait 1-3 weeks to get their pictures back. Plus other reusable cameras can be had for $20-$40.

When i was in college i did a bunch of crazy things and took pics of the action. The pictures were gonna be epic. I went into the dark room, Turned on the red light and opened the camera to get the film and load it for the developer. Little did i know the red light was enough to ruin the film. Its called dark room for a reason. No light at all!!!!! I was devestated.

This offer does not actually make sense, she could have sold 10% to the lady for 300 and 15% to Robert for 300 and ended up with higher evaluation. It should have been 12.5% for 300k for it to make sense, or tops at 15% (if Robert did not was to reduce his dollar per share).

I worked for photomat years ago, my father's company did a lot of work for Kodak, Bell and Howell and Polaroid My dad was the one behind the solar panel of the sun camera. -this isn't new but it is new to the next generation. The problem we ran into when digital cameras came out and people could immediately download them on their computers -;is they're not going to want to wait for their photos. That was the biggest challenge in the post disposable camera market, put fotomat out of business, because they did not want to wait for photos They did put out disposable cameras that you could reload. I sold them.. not many and they phased out quickly. We'll see maybe the next generation wants to feel like they're different unique or somehow get attention for something new. Which is not new - so stop making fun of old people cuz they invented this stuff that you think is new.

Almost all those of the places that used to do one hour turnaround for the film do not offer that anymore now it’s like they have to ship it off to somewhere else for a few weeks unless you have somewhere that does it locally Most places do not develop it locally anymore

Honestly, you could have well gotten a vintage analogue camera that can last literally lifetimes with much better lens, than this mass produced plastic toys. This show makes zero sense to me sometimes. An iphone 14 or 15 takes better photos than a NikonD700. The world takes pictures with their cell phones; who would want this? Also, there aren't many photo labs in the US anymore that develop actual film. The photo section of your local CVS, Walgreens, Rite_Aid only prints digital images. In Philadelphia there is one camera shop I can think of that develops film. I think this is actually the worst idea Ive ever seen on this show.
