New Thomas Saf-T-Liner C2 Diecast Model Review

Thanks for showing off this beauty, as always curious to know if Thomas built buses would have brought back the C2 and now they finally have! I've been looking for one of these for ages, out of all of the buses that I have in my School bus collection I never was able to find the diecast model of the C2. But now it's finally back, and I just placed my order last night! Thanks for including the link to the Thomas built buses website so I can order this beauty.

Noah if you look at the model the majority of it looks like a West Virginia spec’d C2. If you go on Adam’s channel he has a new video of a 2023 C2 in his fleet that this looks just like! Without the rooftop A/C this bus would be more West Virginia specs because of that extended rubrail

I like and when you have the interior out of it .. could have detailed it and the flat dash is different and actually I think its okay I am sure if you heat up the plastic enough to bend it back to how its supposed to look and take a strip of styrene plaster to make a dash top would work out okay and last I would add a step well lite in the steps. but over all its cool

They need a yellow top version. Interesting how Thomas is HQed in NC but they don’t use NC’s yellow roof

My school system has a fleet of ~140 buses and just about 100 of them are C2’s the others are IC CE’s and old freightliners (these are used as spares) and I hate how there really isn’t an accurate version. 2/8 new bus orders each year for our system are typically are a shorter bus or handicap bus and occasionally an activity bus order. They have a fleet of roughly 10 C2 activity buses

I disagree, I feel it is based off one of their promo buses they use in ads that is a diesel (bus on the outside of the box) If they wanted that to be an electric bus then they should have labeled it as such.

@@BusBoy501Productions In Montgomery County, MD the 2021 and 2022 Thomas C2 buses are electric powered. However, the C2s from 2007-2020 are diesel.
