This set kinda reminds me of the old TnP sets because of the spiral tracks and going down stuff, it looks like a rollercoaster but at least there is some railway related stuff going on, picking and delivering cargo, sheds, cranes, no dragons, no tornados, no weird events going on, just train stuff.

The most annoying thing abt these platform sets is the lack of capability of pulling long trains. meaning the cranky part can only fit 2 things (2 tank engines, 1 tender engine, or a tank engine pulling 1 car)

Nice review, although I hate how most of this is a one-time snap set, especially with the cranes. Honestly, I prefer standalone versions of what's included here. Everything being crammed together doesn't feel as realistic to me.

I must say, I do agree with you, and the set does feel like a one time snap set, as you said. Would love to see a stand-alone version of the tidmouth sheds, it feels like I never see any form of sheds anywhere, but then again, there is a lack of trackmaster in my area.

Amazing. If you want to get Carly with the same base as Cassia, you can get the NEW Push Along Carly's Gateway Set. You don't have to get the Motorized Mega Sodor Set to get Carly... All the stop tracks in this tower set works with the NEW talking engines.

I've seen the review of the set, and it had more potential than it would've recieved. I possibly have major issues looking at the components and selection of engines and rolling stock. 1. Carly is still of course a recolour of Trackmaster Cassia from the range 2. The stop track piece should be on both sides on the top 3. We have too many Motorized Thomases. As if he's the only character that matters to children from playsets 4. Push Along Percy... didn't we have him in a previous Push along set? also, sorry about the bent hook. 5. Basic Harold. Okay. 6. a red truck, no words. 7. why are the cargo crates so hollow underneath

Both Carly and Cassia are one-time snap parts (according to the Instructional Video), so it doesn't look like they can be removed. Would've been better if they could though, IMO.

We just got this set (second hand) for my grandson, and we're having trouble with the spinning bridge aligning properly with the tracks when you spin it. It sometimes stops a full 1/2" from the platform, and fairly misaligned. Definitely not aligned enough to allow Thomas to just keep on going. Anyone else struggle with this issue? If so, what did you do?

I just got this set for my son, he loves it. However, right out of the box, the Thomas motorized didn’t work too well. The little switch to turn him on and off was extremely faulty. So we bought a different motorized car just to replace the faulty one that came with the set.

Great Review On This Set Bro!! I totally agree on your thoughts and statements with this playset and I’m glad you looked at it because I was originally thinking about getting this mainly just for the addition of Carly into my layout…But after seeing this video I think I will reconsider and buy 2 of the Cassia Crane Cargo Set only to customize 1 of them to turn into Carly like everybody did and get the Deluxe Sodor Set.Especially since if I was to buy this playset,it wouldn’t really give me much potential to use in remake videos since the characters are wack,the destinations is eh and as you put it,it is just like a “Hot Wheels Garage” then a Sodor Railway Set.So if I had to recommend this,I would only buy this for young kids,and not for high class adult collectors..so I’m glad I watched this video and I now know where to put my money towards the other awesome and okay sets!! I think it's amazing in my opinion the Thomas is basically the same nothing too special but however for push along Percy it's the same as well but however I do like it has the bottom it will be very amazing to get a second one to replace my old one and for The Harold it's good almost a few differences when I compared to this to the other version of Harold that I got from the superstation or the Sky High Bridge jump Carly and cassia look nice I think it could have been a little bit better if they painted one of the hooks blue and Gray instead of just red I'm perfectly fine of the point switches having one of them red instead of the usual silver but for these two not really I am very surprised that talking motorized engines could work on this awesome highest set I might have to give it a 9 out of 10

Hi! Yes you can connect other Trackmaster (2014 Onward) and Thomas Motorized Sets! Just keep in mind, not all Engines may be cross compatible. :) If you have anymore questions please let me know!

At 3:25 you can see the turn table there are points where you can connect other Trackmaster (2014 Onward) and Thomas Motorized Tracks! However, trains wouldn't be able to run continuously you would have to stop them on the turn table and turn it to the track you'd like to travel to.

You failed to mention how the diecast work on the playset or how you can build your world out from the turn table and rear of the playset. You failed to show the turntable or Cranky's feature working with a long car as well.

Your very welcome! I'm glad I could help! They're aren't many sets now that run on a continuous loop sadly. One thats a great starter set is the Cassia Crane set, it's small but it's a full loop of track and includes a crane to move cargo with. The Talking Thomas and Percy Set is another one of my favorites because Thomas and Percy both talk to each other! (Keep in mind though, you'll want to switch out the auto-stop rail with a standard curve for continuous play)! Also, Thomas and Percy talk a lot! But they are a lot of fun!

I like their characters but not really the way they were introduced. I will say however, I actually don't mind Henry and Edward not being at Tidmouth because it made a bit more sense for Edward to be at Wellsworth and Henry at Vicarstown, but I just don't like the way it was forced.

One set I would recommend is the talking Thomas and Percy Set! It includes two talking Engines and a good amount of track!

Just a small nitpick) That's all i wanted to talk about this shifty oily schemer in this pack with the cow and Troublesome Tanker. The prashe did make Diesel make a chuckle, that he is up to no good. *Would he ever scare off chickens with a blast from diesel horn 🤭* I'm sorry, this just got me annoyed and irritated.
