New Throw in Spots for 2023-24 Season [BRC2023]

Greg, Whenever player A1 is trapped in the corner outside of the 3-point line by the defense, and team A's coach calls a timeout.... is the throw-in going to be at the 28-foot line? If so, is that giving team A the advantage of coming out of a trap that was successfully set by the defense by being granted a timeout?

Great video. What about back court violations? Will they be at 1 of the 4 spots or spot closest to where the violation occurs?

Well, would the violation result in a frontcourt throw-in for the opponent? If yes, then one of the 4 throw-in spots.

Where is the ball placed when a defender knocks the ball out of bounds on the baseline? Is it always at one of the two designated baseline spots? Or is it nearest to where the ball went out of bounds? If the ball goes out near the corner, where would the ball be inbounded? One of the two designated baseline spots or nearest to where the ball went OOB (i.e. on the baseline in the corner)?

When a ball goes out-of-bounds, anywhere on the court, play is resumed with a throw-in at the spot the ball went OUT-OF-BOUNDS. The 4 Throw-in spots would apply to any other stoppage that resulted in a front court throw-in.

@@BetterOfficials Thanks! This was also my understanding, but I'll admit it does feel strange signaling a throw-in wedged in the corner on the baseline.
