Cool video I never realized that Shannon tipplers eyes had that much red in them. I just bought one but didn't buy more because of the red eye but seeing yours I'm going to get a couple more after seeing your video.

Probably really good birds from the sound of it. It's also really important how they're trained though imo. I know a pigeon flyer in West Texas who's gotten up to 6 hours on his NYC Flights, training them with Tipplers. Idk? I've heard that's damn good for Flights? But I think it's more because he's a really dedicated birdman & trainer who loves flying his pigeons.
@Atownflyer4843 жыл бұрын
Very true. But it also depends on the bloodline. Over the years I’ve had tipplers from people that flew there asses off for 4 hours easily without any special training. and then I bought tipplers from people to find out the birds wouldn’t even fly 20 minutes.
@65FullMoon833 жыл бұрын
@@Atownflyer484 Oh definitely the bloodline is extremely important! You're not going to win a marathon without good genetics & knowing how to appropriately breed those superior birds to produce the BEST offspring flyers you can get from them. Really every detail & aspect seems to be important when getting the most from any animal. On their part & ours. It's also what makes it fun, setting those goals & somehow trying to attain them. As you're already very aware of I'm sure. Really enjoy your channel & your enthusiasm! 😊👍

Blood lines kill me! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
@Atownflyer4842 жыл бұрын
Bloodlines make all the difference when it comes to performance. If you don’t know that then I don’t know what else to tell you. I had enough bloodlines in my loft to know. I bought birds from people who were supposed to be top breeders and there birds don’t fly for shit. I have one pair of birds from a different bloodline that was gifted to me and the youngsters from them fly like a mother fucker. I’ve flown different bloodlines together and trained them all the same and have seen a big difference in bloodlines. And yes most Tippler pigeons look the same no matter the bloodlines with the exception of people who mix breeds together. If you have good performing birds then stay with them. You should feel lucky. Most people out here will only sell you there shit birds.

Hi there I would like to know how their young ones are flying or did you try any of them.?
@Atownflyer4842 жыл бұрын
Yes I did. Keep in mind I didn’t do any special training with these birds. My goal was to see what they would do on there own free will. They gave me an average of 3 hours throughout the summer months even in 90 degree weather. Once the weather started to break in the fall months they gave me 5 and a half hours. If I let them out after work in the early evening at 5:00 they would keep flying into the night until about 10:00.

@@timjkelly2121 I really don’t have much to look at right now. I slimmed it down to only 3 pair. I got rid of 50 birds back in the fall with the idea of getting rid of everything to be done with a hobby. But I just couldn’t do it with this repair. I can start over again in the spring.

Harry shannon had 22hours on the wing. I have the same Bloodline they are amazing. It's unbelievable how important it is to have the good bloodline. If you train the young ones to fly with droppers they are a real fun.
