New Tires For The For The Motorcycles.

Always nice to have a fresh set of tires. I have never used that brand but would like to know how they hold up. Have fun out there.

You get what you pay for. I started out using the (budget) Dunlop Sportmax2 tires. They perform just fine, but are not durable. Twice, I encountered an unfixable flat on the freeway after running over a bolt. (Both) The Q3+ and the Q5 are much more solid tires, with the ability to ride on flats, if you were to have one. The grip is superior with the Q5 tire, but the multiple compound rubber makes the mileage about the same. It took a Sportmax 2 tire beyond the limit & it lasted over 10,000 miles ! (Not recommended).

@@goldwingmomentsUsing Dunlops on my Versys 650. I wouldn’t try a Sportmax 2 on a larger motorcycle. I wouldn’t even put them on a 650, again.

I’ve used Dunlop Q3+ tires. I’m currently riding on Dunlop Q5 tires. Where did you find a Dunlop Q-4 tire ?

On eBay. I imagine the Q5 are the best ones out.
