Elizabeth was pregnant when the child of her father told her that she "had to get rid of it". Seeking a new start and a chance at happiness, Elizabeth left her country for the first place that came to mind: Canada. However, she quickly found herself alone and unsure of how to care for a baby on her own.
Thankfully she got connected to the Pregnancy Care Centre where she found the emotional, material and community support that she and her child needed to thrive.
