BABYMONSTER is a new band that is located in the company YG Entertainment, they are in the same company with Blackpink. They debuted on November 27, 2023 with the single BATTER UP, but they then changed the debut date because one member was ill at the time of release and she is not in the video. The date was made on April 1, 2024 with the BABYMONS7ER mini-album with the track SHEESH

Babymonster hosted the Last Evaluation survival show. There were 8 episodes in total. All 7 members were on the show, all of whom had the potential to debut on BABYMONSTER. The teaser said that not all of them would debut because they wanted the group to have fewer than seven members, but all 7 members debuted. Blackpink members Lisa and Jennie were mentors of BabyMonster

Great reaction. You asked "Is this Kpop"? Both BabyMonster and their big sisters Blackpink are under YG Entertainment ("YG"). Think of YG as Death Row Records, vs. say Atlantic or Universal Records. YG is much more rap/trap focused than the other big Kpop Music Agencies (Hybe, SME, JYP). The other companies have rappers, but their music don't integrate YG level of rap/trap. But YG will blend rap, EDM, Country (yes, Country Accoustic Guitars in Blackpink's Whistle), Latin, Pop. But to see the best and more typical version of BabyMonster you should react to their biggest hit "Sheesh", that has killer vocals, raps, and dance choreo (more in line with a typical Blackpink song).

They are under the same label as Black Pink! They are the little sister group I guess you could say ages 15-22 baby monster fandom name is Monstiez. This is their first all rap song! They are all rounders. Their vocals are insane there are 7 members. Check out forever by baby monster. It’s more upbeat. They are K-pop
