I love Tarja's voice

You definitely need to listen to her voice in the other End of an Era DVD as it's her last time with the band before they sacked her. Her voice really touches the soul.

Tarja's voice is soo magical and powerfull. Listen to your songs is like start a epic journey, became better and better and you can't stop, she put a lot of emotions and feelings in her songs, its beautifull. I just wish one day i can go to her show and give to her a big hug and say thank you for make my days better with your music.

Floor Jansen has been on the symphonic circuit starting with After Forever at 16 years old. Nightwish came some might say around the same time...let's say 1997 is a good base time for both. I'm sure Gabriel can attest to that. So it became almost inevitable or fate you might say that it came to be. Enjoy the journey as I and endless others have, Im 61, grew up in Los Angeles, Ca and seen more in my lifetime - share of bands and performers ...and must say Nightwish is in the top 3 of all time for me, that I would never be tired of listening to. Once Tarja was fired, I bought everything I could find with Tarja. you should check out her "Beauty and the Beat" videos where she went around and sang opera songs with her drummer as an addition to the orchestra she was performing with. If you want to feel emotional try the Nightwish cover "Swanheart" from Beauty and the beat.

If you add to this performance a version with Floor and Henk in "Beste Zangers" and another in the same composition with Floor+Nightwish(Henk) and then add up how many times you cried, the result will be three times in total.

May I suggest listening to their very first album, Angels fall first? 😊 It was such a masterpiece that the record company released it without editing. I would recommend the songs Elvenpath, Know why the nightingale sings, or Lappi (3 parts).

I understand what you're saying. Until I found Nightwish, songs were just that, songs. Nightwish performances are so much more for me than just songs. They are musical Journies. You can just sink into the music, leave the troubles of the world behind and enjoy the Journey. The great thing, no two journies are the same! No music has ever really been able to do that for me other than a few pieces of classical music. I truly hope you find that they can do the same for you. As for song recommendations, you'll no doubt see that there are differences of opinion in the Nightwish Army about who the best vocalist is - you know who you are ;) Therefore I'll give you one from each. The song is a master piece in which the composer, keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen killed himself so that he wouldn't have to do so in real life. Marko before joining Nightwish was main singer of Tarot

This is my favorite version of "Phantom". Tarja is magnificent, and Marko, makes the grittiest Phantom ever. I am a huge Marko fan and, though he is no longer with the band, I am grateful htat we have had almost 20 years of his singing with Nightwish. If you want to hear what Marko and Tarja have been up to recently, I suggest you listen to the song "Left on Mars" which was released this year and features both of them. And, I think that there are a lot of us who can relate to the emotion that Nightwish can evoke. I came late to their music and only discovered them during lockdown. I can honestly say that they helped me get through that difficult period. I think you are really going to appreciate the artistry that is Nightwish.

Well, Ghost Love Score (Live in Wacken 2013) is the most reacted to video on KZbin apparently, but there are so many songs (Shoemaker - which is super interesting both in lyrics and the music itself, and from the new album Perfume of the Timeless, The Day of..., Lanternlight, and scores of other songs from previous albums).

For me this is my favorite Tarja performance. Then as a faster song check her version of "She is my sin" and then just watch the whole show, like i did numerous times in the last 25 years.

Are more akin to SIRENS, badass mischievous strong creatures who amaze you with their vocal beauty are but also scare the piss out of you whilst they drag you under Just my interpretation Peace
