New to Me! 2001 Suzuki SV650S

I haven't ridden pretty much since the great fiasco of loading my bike onto a Uhaul truck.
which I gotta admit is pretty funny and I was... I'll put it delicately - I was pretty ignorant and or stupid about it.
I like this #bike a lot. it reminds me of my old #Yamaha #fz6 .
I have not ridden it yet. Still have to get the paperwork going and my new gear hasn't arrived yet.
I mean, it's hard enough to get over my fears again. but I have to get over everyone else's fears, too. my wife is pissed about me getting the bike.
Fear has cost me a lot i think. I have to fight my fears - the only way I can. Hopefully, it doesn't kill me; although I have seemingly made peace with dying a long time ago.

I have the same bike, same color, just one year newer. It is my first motorcycle and I still love it after 3 years!

I'm really liking the bike. It reminds me of my Yanaha FZ6 which was my favorite bike I've owned until now. It isn't overly heavy and works predictably even in slow speed - where I have lots of work to do.
