Great Video Jason, most of which I do every time I play another Radio Show. My main question is, 'How Many Songs can I add to PIL' without crashing the system please?

There is no defined limit. We have users running with 100,000 songs with no issues.

Can you schedule the system to cross to a url stream link, to play a live stream from a web site ? Then cross back to the automation files ?

You can use a Remote URL item to play a direct stream from a URL link. You can set a period of time for the URL to play before advancing to the next item. If you want more advanced streaming functionality you should take a look at Priority Streams which is resilient to streams dropping or going silent: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3qXpauaf8mNZ6c

I want to set to play a jingle after every 4 songs played. how to do that ?

Create a track group for Jingles and another for Songs. Then in the Playout Pattern, enter Songs, Songs, Songs, Jingles; and automation will rotate around those track groups.

New to this hobby, trying to stream a radio station for me and my friends when we play American Truck Sim... The tutorial is very nice and all, but is there perhaps further information on how to actually set up your radio station? (I already have a streaming service to use, I've just no idea how to connect the software to the website)

Where do i get the music from in the first place before even importing it into the software??? I only use Spotify but cant seem to get it working???? Not very clear on where or how to get music files from in the first place

Can play it schedule events like Zara where a track can play at a certain time each day automatically and then return to the regular play out after. For example I want to run suspense theater at 10PM every day and whatever else with no definite time limit to the track and when finished return to regular playlist. Could I do this with a station promo also? This wasn't shown here?

You would typically schedule shows at specific times of the day using clocks and the clock schedule. Please see our video on Scheduling.

Hi. Is there any way to add jingles to play between each track using automation mode?

This video shows at 03:50 adding Station IDs (Jingles) and then using the playout pattern (08:43) to add these Station IDs into automation rotation. The example shows using songs, but you can add Station IDs (Jingles here too). When Automation is switched on it will alternate between Songs and Station IDs.

I have selected my default device, but I'm still not getting any sound would love some help to solve this problem.

Make sure that the correct output device is selected under File > Settings > Live Assist. You should also verify that the device is not muted and that the volume levels are set appropriately on your computer.

I'm afraid we don't have one to link to. If you install a virtual cable such as vb-audio.com/Cable/index.htm, then on PlayIt Live under File > Settings > Live-Assist Mode, select CABLE Input for each player and click OK. Then on Stereo Tool, under Input, select CABLE Output. This will route the audio from PlayIt Live to Stereo Tool. VB Audio is donation-ware. If you use it, please make a contribution to them.

Is it possible to use Playit Live together with the D&R Airlite radio broadcaster, so that faders e.g. starts a musicnumber, and so that favorite buttons start jingles / Stations ID's etc. on the quickcarts.
