Hi Abby, I think I’ve mentioned this on a previous post. I really don’t think you need concealer at all. No imperfections or discolorations. Your “before” was naturally stunning. I’m not sure what the TF silk is all about so maybe we can see that in the future. Thank you for always bringing us ladies the true review when it comes to higher end products. I do like the Cle de Peau a little better. The reason is I have a small vein that runs under both eyes,and I don't have dark circles but the slightly pink undertone does cancel out the veining. Looking at both on you though they both look great and they are both smooth looking, no creases! Thank you so much for reviewing this for us and have a great week! Love and Hugs!!

I am on no face products no buy until I use some of my older products especially foundations and concealers. I go back and forth between cream or liquid concealers. I will definitely want to try this…in due time. I think that for me (like the foundation) is getting the right shade.

Hi Abby, I prefer the Cle de Peau side, but like you said it may be a color issue. It is nice that the Tom Ford gives a more hydrated look. I think I see TF Silk in your future 🔮 Got to do it for science ❤😂

Hi Abby! I like the Tom Ford side better. Looked more creamy and seemed to work better under your eyes. The Cle De Peau looked drier. I want to try the Tom Ford! Heard all great reviews for mature eyes on this. Thanks for the great review!

Hi Abby. I like the Cle de Peau side better. To me, it looks smoother on you, and the color beige is spot on! I’m glad you showed all your concealer comparisons. I was curious about the TF, since I love the Shade and Illuminate foundation. But, I have been watching reviews on these concealer comparisons, and the reviews have helped me. While the TF looks good, I’m leaning more towards the new Chanel concealer, once I’m finished with my CdP. But, I would need to try it in store, rather than order it. Not sure on what color would suit me. They seem to run very light. The CdP is not drying under my dry eyes, but I use a rich eye cream. It’s a great concealer, and also a great spot cover up on the face when needed.

@@AbbyBlissWhite maybe a lighter color in the Tom Ford concealer would work better for you, under the eyes, but the cream concealer might be good for a quick foundation, or just to put in certain areas on your face. I like the idea that it’s more hydrating, but I don’t find the CdP drying, which surprised me, and it holds up very well. The cream color would be my shade in the Tom Ford. 🙂

@@janicecroissiert9116 yep! They did not have all the testers out yet... so from the ones we were looking at Taupe, Ecru, Creme and Silk- we were going back and forth between Creme and Silk.... I think I need to go back and play a bit more... AND I don't find CDP drying but just not super hydrating compared to the TOM FORD. xoxo

Great review and comparison, Abby! The shade charts were helpful too. I actually need to re-purchase my Cle de Peau concealers and was curious about this new one from Tom Ford, but the word "matte" was also throwing me off. I think it was a good color and texture, but to me, the Cle de Peau side did look better under your eye. I think the pigment saturation in such a small amount is the strength of the Cle de Peau...those of us with fine lines and cute crinkles don't want to "build up" anything under the eye! I think the TF did look good, even after your wear test, just not as good as CPB. I do wonder if a different shade would help, I tend to use two shades under my own eyes in all concealers, one inner corner in a yellow/peach tone for the purple, and then one that's more a true color match to my foundation. Very timely and helpful review!

Yes Abby! I agree with you….the Cle de Peau has more coverage. It’s also got that nice rosy undertone which brightens your under eye area better! The Tom Ford concealer does look nice and dewy. However it may slide around more during the day and wear down sooner 😮. And as you said, that shade in the Tom Ford had the wrong undertone and made the eye appear more tired looking 😢. I definitely prefer the Tom Ford, given my super dry under eyes. Not in the market for any under eye concealers right now - I have 4 I’m juggling now! By the way, if you’ve not tried the La Prairie Skin Caviar under eye concealer, you may love it. Great video Abby, as always!

I like the Cle de Peau side better. But, I think part of it is the color. The peachiness somehow makes the undereye more youthful (not that you need that!) but the TF ages a wee bit, and I think it's the color, to neutral or too white. My attention is drawn toward that it looks like you are wearing concealer, as is different with the CDP side, looks more natural and you undereye recedes more. It looks more transparent and fresh actually, yet you say it has more coverage. That is pretty difficult to pull off in a concealer. I wonder if you went with a peachiness with the TF if it would do the same thing, only be more hydrating, which would be a nice quality, of course. Does the CDP feel "dry" because it does not look like it. You are beautiful. Thanks for the succinct, but thorough review.

I have the Cle de Peau in Beige too, which is a perfect shade, but too “makeup-y” looking on me (I can tell I’m made up!)! I use the TF stick in 1.2 “Ivory Beige” and got the TF in Silk and it’s a very good shade, tho I found all of his complexion products run a little warm for me, as with the concealer. That being said, the Silk shade works well on my cool tone, and looks very “skin-like” on my face. I highly recommend you try it! Your skin looks AMAZING btw!!

Abby, that’s great your doing this comparison. CDP is a favorite for many and the new TF is quite nice too. I purchased the TF but in the wrong shade to use as under eye concealer but I can use as spot concealer. I do like how creamy it is. The CDP is thicker and offers more coverage so I guess it depends on preference. I probably will try a lighter shade to see how I like under the eye. So hard when buying online. I hope you find the right shade and would love an update on how you like it. Your skin looks flawless so I’m not sure you need much concealer. 😊❤️

I like the Cle du Peau side as it has better coverage. With that said I can't wear it under my eyes because it is too dry for me and wear it on my face instead like you do. How does TF compare to Chanel concealer?

Linda- so the Chanel is a cream so a bit different consistency but it is so hydrating and has medium to full coverage. If you prefer a liquid/cream concealer then I would go for the Chanel!

Hmm... I do love the Imagine by Guerlain! It is very old school - classic vibes! FLORAL GREEN FRUITY. Fresh, tangy, daring. Top notes: rhubarb accord, bergamot, grapefruit Heart notes: rose duo (essence and absolute), violet accord, cardamom Base notes: black tea accord, white cedar, vetiver It is not really reminding me of any of the Guerlain's. It is very unique and not like many of my perfumes.... let me ponder a bit more and I will circle back on this! xoxo
