I’ve watched several reviews on this concealer, and this is the first I’ve heard about mica and it having some sparkle! You are the gold standard for detailed reviews! If I’m spending $60 for a concealer I really want to understand what I’m getting! The way you thoroughly describe things, then show us with close ups and different lighting situations is second to none! After your review I now totally realize this one isn’t for me. I also love your eye look in the intro. I didn’t get that large Mitzah palette, but I’m going to go watch your review again because it’s giving such a pretty, fresh spring look.

I'm sorry the TF wasn't a love for you, Sofia! I have been so impressed by it- it's my new favorite concealer! I have very dark circles, so I always have to use a corrector before any concealer. The TF looks so natural and stays crease-free on me. I have dry, eczema prone skin and I'm in my mid-forties. The CdP was too drying and aging on my undereyes that I had to stop using it.

A note on the CDP concealer...there is no shade match for a fair cool skin tone. I have the lightest shade, but is slightly too warm and pigmented.

Thanks for the review! I think I’m going to skip this TF concealer. I’m afraid it might crease under my eyes, and that would be a disaster, lol. I have dry under eyes, however, the CdP is not dry on me at all. I do use a pretty rich eye cream though. And, it does not crease in fine lines. And, if you have to cover spots or redness on the face, the CdP is great for that At least on me. I’m curious about the Chantecaille one now.

Hi there! New subscriber here. I tried this at Nordstrom the other day. I totally agree with everything you said. The sales associate suggested I put the Tom Ford stick foundation under my eyes since it has more coverage. Something to consider but I’ll keep looking.

I agree 100% with you, I was able to try it at Nordstrom and I was very disappointed, definitely not enough coverage for me, it does feel luxurious texture wise but is too sheer and gave me the feeling it won’t stay on in the summer, definitely not worth the money, even the glossier concealer is better than this.

I don’t mind the mica in the CT concealer, but the liquid Tom ford concealer seems to have more, brighter mica, to me in my shades. I have very dry, and textured under eyes, so I think for my over 40 under eyes the mica is a no. Sometimes I use the Sisley corrector before concealer sometimes. Especially days when I’m traveling and eating more salt and sleeping less!

Hi. Just subscribed to your channel and I love it. We have similar coloring and makeup preferences. Here is a question: Is there anyplace to see color swatches or the Cle De Peau concealer stick? I would also love to get the Chanel Sublimage le teint regenerating cream foundation but I can't find a color chart online anywhere and I don't live near any stores to see myself. Welcome!! I do have a video on the Cle de Peau stick but I only have the one color to swatch 🙂 I am going to be doing a review on the sublimage soon as well! I am shade B10 for reference. I would recommend calling client services to see if they can help color match you or send you samples. I did this cle de Peau before and it was really helpful

I haven’t tried that one yet just the foundation. I think they would be pretty different cause the sublimage line feels creamy like skincare and this concealer is more of a sheer velvety texture. I 100% want to try the sublimage soon!

I have Chanel Sunlimage concealer and I love it. It give a very good coverage and it's not drying my sensitive undereye area. I'm 52 years young and I'm very particular on what I put on my face. When you use Chanel Sublimage concealer you need to use only very little amount, so be careful.

hi i have built up quite a collection now of Tom ford cosmetics and my gosh i hadn’t realised the difference between this makeup and say others i wont name any but for me thisbrand has taken me by surprise i am now addicted i am upto seven eyeshadow palettes and love them all , but its the basics that matter so i bought those first so now i am interested in the concealer as my skin sounds very like yours . i cant find an eye primer do Tom ford do one ? i use a colour corrector before concealer to cover under eye blueness ! did you powder under eyes ? you have a beautiful skin ! would you buy it ! as i am an awful lot older than you are ! my love liz xxx i have the new dior concealer and that has never ever creased on me ! and i have only had it two weeks but its wonderful i love it ! expensive but great. give it a try . i think i will stick to my Dior.

Yes the Dior concealer is so good! I didn’t powder in this wear test but it does help if I wear this with more powder products. I don’t use eye primers too much but I like the ones from ABH and Viseart!

hi do you think it shows fine line? cause i have fine line situation n strong dark eye circle(no doctors can cure) but i care about fine lines more cause i m already 45. i use "hourglass" it is a totally disaster. also tried nars, pat mcgrath. fine lines are always a no no.

The only Concealer who does not settle nor emphasizes fine lines is the Chanel Sublimage Concealer. Ton of coverage, stays hydrated and no powder needed which is new to me. The only downside is the shade range/match. Currently using 32 as a base and to correct and then carefully Highlight with 02, which is borderline too cool on me.
