Man, your content is great. I wish you a whole lot of subscribers and viewers so you can make some money off of it. To buy more tools with to review, of course, and it'll snowball from there!

Thank you so much my friend! This means a lot! I am trying my best with what I have at my disposal. I don't have a workshop unfortunately, otherwise I think it would have been better content, but I try to give it a unique feel as it is. Thank you once again for being so king to me and this channel! I appreciate it more than you can imagine!

I just looked this up. Looks like a good price for this much power. I don't need it but I love the blade test! I will be going with Makita from now on!

I shared a few tears for that blade, I have the black blade but, for now, I didn't need it, that was a nice test! If you don't brake the bank, the angle grinder, the black one, if you can test it, I've missed it in the stores 😊

I have a couple of angle grinders waiting for me. I have the flathead ones and the D4 the last performance one with a proper button. Any of them the one you would like to see in a video?
@memutu6 ай бұрын
@@BrokeLifeEU sorry, I didn't specified, the corded one. I didn't get it and I was wondering if the 1700w is a little bit to much for a 125mm grinder, but I would bought it anyway. Unfortunately, I've missed it..
@BrokeLifeEU6 ай бұрын
I can try to get you a review of that angle grinder, but my access to corded power is very limited at the moment and I have somewhat stretched my finances unfortunately. However I will see if I can make it happen for you! I will try my best!

Our 300€+ Makita died at work i was thinking about picking this up but when i saw how hard it vibrates in your hands there is no way i could do that for few hours 😅. I'm stuck with 18v version that sucks while they fix my baby 😆.
@BrokeLifeEU3 күн бұрын
And it is quite heavy so it won’t be your favourite tool to work with, let’s say that. But I read somewhere they were on sale for like €40 and honestly at that price can we complain 😅
@wanderer77793 күн бұрын
@BrokeLifeEU it's on sale rn still won't buy it. Vibration means a lot to me i have problems with my back (i sounds like an old man an i am 29 😆)

@wanderer7779 Oh no, I perfectly well know what you mean! Sorry to hear that, guess we are in the same boat on the back pain 😔
@wanderer77793 күн бұрын
@@BrokeLifeEU yup i get headaches from extreme vibrations. Also i work with that Makita for about 7 years already it's hard to compare anything with that kind of quality machine

when u need orbital and non orbital function? on what type of materials?
@BrokeLifeEU3 ай бұрын
The orbital function is a more aggressive way of cutting, that is to say faster. The negative is that the edges are not as neat as with lack of orbital action.
@ΣΤΑΥΡΟΣΓΚΕΡΛΕΣ2 ай бұрын
the orbital function should only be used when cutting wood. Not with metals and plastics.

in the past black performance edition meant the tools have brushless motor. now they mix it with green basic line like there's no tomorrow.
@BrokeLifeEU5 ай бұрын
Yes, they also fooled me! Initially I thought this would be a brushless motor. Then I opened it up and it was not. Marketing and profits I guess...
@ΣΤΑΥΡΟΣΓΚΕΡΛΕΣ2 ай бұрын
usually corded tools don't need to be brushless because of the unlimited power they got ,while on battery tools you need every extra power you can get in order to have longer runtimes . Very few manufacturers have made the transition to ac corded brushless tools. hikoki being one of them. Parkside is making tools through lisence, right now they will releash the first corded performance jig saw with brushless motor. It is a festool under license tool. If festool also gives the license to the brushless corded angle grinder i suspect that the b2 version of the parkside 1700watt grinder will be brushless ac motor.

Great insights, looks like Makita blades are the way to go. The tool looks unstoppable, you could probably saw a car in half with it in a day with enough blades on hand. Curious how it holds up in the long run!
@BrokeLifeEU6 ай бұрын
I did want to cut a car in half with it! I thought it would make for a good video and it would be the ultimate test for the tool and carbide blade. Unfortunately the production budget got in the way of that... 😅

On paper seems like a good tool, but when you disassemble it you realize that it is not very good made. It is build for not too demanding work. The shaft mechanism inside is not in a closed cell but is wide open and there is a very flimsy light sealing preveding dust to get in and clogg the device.The only seal is a thin o-ring made of felt. Especially when cutting masonry, the tool is very likely to fill up with dust. Needs some light modifications from the user to seal it completely. And the biggest disappointment is the fake orbital function switch. You flip it and the cutting continues to be linear, flip it twice, again linear action. It is not a real functional switch unfortunately.
@BrokeLifeEU6 ай бұрын
You are right there. I mean the orbital action looks like it does something in my case but nothing to be excited about and I felt no real difference with the branches I was cutting. Also the branches were rather big so I would have hoped to have seen a difference there but no. So to that I would say at least in my case it was more of a gimmick. As for the dust getting in the tool I felt it no worse than the cordless sabre saw that I have. That said my cordless sabre saw is not very good at dust prevention either, but this one is no worse than what I am used to with Parkside. It is not a bad tool if it is used within DIY limits. for 50-60 euros I find it to be satisfactory, because it will get the job done and it has a lot of power. Have you tried the carbide blades?
@ΣΤΑΥΡΟΣΓΚΕΡΛΕΣ6 ай бұрын
@BrokeLifeEU you are right. If you consider the price, than yeah, but unfortunately, the corded performance series is advertised as pro level tool. Specially the angle grinder which was rather expensive, and has some professional tech on it. It has a magnetic ring that provides loading data and a relay that keeps the rpm constant. This sabre saw should have been the green line tool. Anyway I modded mine and added two additional sealing layers. It should have less chance of glogging. The orbital action can be amplified with a more aggressive shaft. But not too much because it will lock completely the reciprocating action. Also I have tried the carbide blade, it is good but it doesn't last long. The best blades I've used are makita.
@BrokeLifeEU6 ай бұрын
Did they really market them as professional tools? That is way above what they are good for! Also I knew Makita blades were good but I still surprised myself with how good they actually are. I managed to get them from a local store where they were on sale and each Makita blade cost me no more than 1 EUR. For that price I should have bought the entire box of them. I really like the feel of the Makita Progressive blade, looks like a very good blade for wide use.
@ΣΤΑΥΡΟΣΓΚΕΡΛΕΣ6 ай бұрын
@BrokeLifeEU the angle grinder sure is advertised as such in the booklet. For demanding work in your workshop or in your house. That is what's written in the booklet. I bought a whole box of makitas blades. Set for long time.

At €3 per blade that is a fantastic price! The Parkside ones I paid €10 per blade which for it being Parkside I think is a bit too much.
@662726 ай бұрын
No to carbide teeth then. Not worth the money. Just get x4 regular blades for the price of the carbide one.
@BrokeLifeEU6 ай бұрын
That is what I will be doing. I prefer to replace a blade more frequently than to spend x4-5 times as much on a single blade. The regular Makita blades are like 2 Euros each. The carbide Parkside is anywhere from 10 to 15 depending on what mood Lidl financial people are.
@memutu6 ай бұрын
I would agree with that, not worth the money, regular makita blades are good enough, also I didn't put mine to the test, I have some Irwin ones that won't give up :-)
@BrokeLifeEU6 ай бұрын
Yes, I used the Parkside metal carbide say about 10 times in total and am starting to see some wear on the teeth. The makita blades I bough from a store where they were on sale. Less than 1 EUR per blade. I am very impressed with these regular Makita blades. The progressive metal Makita blade I think is my favourite, because I feel it can be used for a wide range of metals and will always feel and perform pretty much the same.
