Just having a good time on my Lance Cabo 150cc scooter.

I have the same bike, the lance Cabo 150cc. I got it up to 69mph, I use 93 gas!⛽️🔥

It’s a great scooter! I got it up to 66mph but I’ve found that the scooter overstates the speed by 6mph. I’ve checked it with a couple of speedometer apps and my GoPro. I’m not sure if that applies to all of Lance scooters but mine is about 6mph over on pretty much any speed past 15 mph. I use the highest grade gas at my station. I think it’s 91. Nice to meet another Cabo 150 rider.

@@Jurassic_Marc All speedometers even car speedometers are a little off.. and GPS is a little off too due to signal delay so you'll never really get 100% accurate speeds. My scooter is off compared to GPS by 2 to 3 miles an average. Time of day, wet or dry, different seasons, tires being warmed up or not, amount of psi in each can all make your speedometer fluctuate.

Never hit 60 with mine... I have been close though. It was stolen in Atlanta, lol I have a small motorcycle now, it does 60 pretty easy. 😉

@@Jurassic_Marc I have a China, Dong Fang brand 150cc scooter that will hit 55 pretty quickly. It has a speed limiter so I'm sure if I remove the limiter I can get it to 60 but I don't know why I would.. 55 is Screaming fast on a 150cc when you are low to the ground as I am with my 27 in seat height. 55 is it's rated max speed with the limiter.

Thanks! Salt Lake Scooter Co. near Nate Wade Subaru. I paid $2,400. I've tried scooters that cost less than that and they have lots of problems. I highly recommend Lance brand. I haven't had any major problems since I bought it a few years ago.

@@Jurassic_Marc Yes I was also worried about quality...I ended up with a Bintelli Sprint - I only got a 49cc but it hauls butt and I can easily do 45...55 on downhills lol....Yes I wish now I had gone ahead and got a 150 for that extra Road Trip Power....I am looking to move up in the future....For now, I must say I have put 1000 miles on the scooty since I got it last June (I live in a Suuuuuper rainy place, or there would be 3000....) but I tell you, that Sprint has never failed to start, even with a kick start when cold! Great price for my 49cc was $1200 and super solid bike. I love the Ride videos and started POV Ride videos with a dji osmo action! Love scooting!! Happy Riding everyone!!!

I am 6'3". Sometimes the handlebars can bump my knees when making tighter turns but overall it's not bad. The Lance Cabo 150 is one of the better scooters for tall people. I like to sit on the front of the seat. If I scoot my butt all the way back it's not cramped at all.

There are actually plenty of aftermarket parts that can help. Gear kits for a higher gear ratio, performance exhaust, carburetors, air filters, CDI's and clutches, variator rollers and larger jets. It's all about tuning your bike to get the most power and efficiency from it's GY6 engine without actually going to something like a bigger bore like a 171cc which you could also do.
