Anything that hastens the removal of the current Labour shower is to be welcomed. However, it would be better if the new MP were someone with some life experience, including a few years doing a proper job. A couple of years on secondment from Deloittes as an assistant to a shadow minister is not a proper job. Given the record of previous twenty-something professional politicians there is no cause to celebrate the rise of another one.
