Question why not just put the generator on a slider? So if you need to maintain it just slide it out and when finished slide back in?

Ya Jeffs, why didnt you install a slide out? With its weaker mount, rattle your teeth bearings, 1 or 2 feet of flexible braided exhaust, wiring, and fuel you really cant go wrong....How will you EVER get the drain plug out like that? Lol

I am in the middle of watching this video at 30 minutes in. With Jeff's reputation I expect nothing less than a cleaned and repainted/chromed/other outside of that tank. That rig should look awesome and run that way too. Lutz standards indeed. lol

It was so funny, Lutz Sr. standing there directing orders like a true Journeyman, apprentice doing all the work while the Supervising Journeyman just stands there. So hilarious how Sr. leaning on the car while the Cameraman gets dirty, a true Journeyman at heart!!!

The inside of the fuel tanks are black from dirty fuel and algae. I'd recommend treating both tanks with anti algae treatments like power service fuel tank cleaner for algae and carry a few extra fuel filters until the tanks are cleared up.

Awesome job guys, have you thought about putting the generator on a slide out, it makes them so much easier to service because the tight quarters in there. Some of my featherlight trailers that I’ve towed had slide outs and you could service a generator in about 10 minutes instead of two hours.

Too bad it could not have mounted the generator on a ball-bearing slid. Thay use in RV for ease of maintenance but you might not have space for it . And a question the molding on the wheel i was sure i saw you put it on but its off again

Make each compartment self-contained like you said from top to bottom on the generator side leave some opening for air but don’t attach anything to the frame this way here. You can always use that whole body on another truck when that truck dies but like you said you don’t need debris coming from the front from the frame side or from the tires on the truck in the compartments it looks like you could slide that tank up a little bit towards the front the black is algae which will ruin your fuel system your injectors, so they do have stuff that will kill the algae in the other tank that you can just put in it the one you have a part steam clean to get rid of the algae or bleach

PSSSST, can I make a recomondation? lay like a angle Iron or a peiec of box tubing across the bottom side of the box bottoms. You be suprised how the vibrations of bumps, and just movement of the vehical, will cause stuff to move just enough In time the metal will crack on belly boxes. all most every deck, or drop decks ect that have belly boxes, I spend so much time welding the bottoms of them. just like Head Ache Rack trays too. the bottoms crack.
