New Trading hall

What do you want from a trading hall?
A place to trade with villagers, where they are safe from mobs, that does not fill a lot: Here the villagers stand right next to each other.
A place its easy to get them in. Villager wrangling is always a pain: Here the villagers just walk in by them selves.
A place where you can easily change the workstation to get a better deal
A place you can easily zombiefy them to get better prizes: Here you can zombie one villager, but also a whole chain in no time (because you can let them infect each other)
A God Machine - you need to be able to kill off a villager you don’t want any more. Often this is a module before the the villager hall itself, but in this design they can’t see each other, so you can kill them on the spot. And fill it with a new one.
A place that’s expandable: This hall is in principle infinite, thou I do recommend max 15 villagers per module.

Seems like this design does not prevent against cross block workstations? At 15:37 you can see a fisherman in front of a cartography table and a cartographer in front of the barrel workstation?

Hi 😊You’re right - the setup is so small, that that can happen. But when a villager first is locked in, it’s no a problem. If you need to kill off a villager and bring Ind a new between to other villagers, just remove their workstations while the new one attaches to his.

This is nice. A minecart could grab a single villager and drop it off into the hall as a method of imputing only a single villager.

Hi, the villager breeder that you attached in the description, does it work with 1.21?

@@EpicBooms hi 😊 Yes! But you need to make a small fix because the changed the way villagers get out of bed at one point. As far as I remember it just involves blocking the side of each villager with a glass block rather than a trap door. Did make a fix video at some point but can’t seem to find it right now.

I play with the new villager game rule. I have 64 clerics in a far away chunk to get enough redstone to build fabmiss4.1 as soon as it will be available. The villagers with blast furnace as workstations buy 1 iron block for 4 emeralds. They can buy 12 at once so that is 48 emeralds per full trade. A decent iron farm and enough villagers will give you plenty of emeralds.

Hi 😊You’re absolutly right - I think that’s what Mojang think as well. And then you get (need) to build a witch farm and a creeper farm.

Impressive build. But it would be useful for viewers if you identified in the title the versions of Minecraft that your build will work. So many You Tubers forget this very important feature of their video.

Hi 😊 You’re right of course. But most contraptions and farms span several generations of the game and it would quickly become a long title. But I do write it in the description so if you seek it out it should correspond to that.

@@MineTheFab Thank you for your response. I didn't explain myself very well. I was suggesting that the version of Minecraft be highlighted i.e. Bedrock or Java. As a heads up, unfortunately your build will not work in Bedrock. Villagers can walk over the scaffolding blocks and the sticky pistons will not leave the coloured glass blocks behind when retracted. But even so, forJava it seems a good build.
