New traffic lights operating on its first hour (W Evelyn Ave & Taffe St)

The reason why there are traffic lights is because of lots of pedestrians and drivers coming around here and it’s also because it is an intersection through a train station and a restaurant. The exact reason is also to make pedestrians wait for all vehicles to pass easily and in order to save timer for a very long time. There is also lots of traffic coming from a blind corner which is why there are lots of pedestrians cross here. These signals do not operate on its own or cycle 24/7. They have a sensor on it and it only walk signal comes on if a button is pressed.
Traffic signals info:
All 16 red, yellow and green lights are LED
The pedestrian signals have 8 LED countdown and 1 LED hand/man (note: the standard hand man pedestrian signal is located at the railroad crossing further down the street)
The signs are owned by Caltrans.
