Excuse me while I throw up after realizing they turned The Color Purple into a musical. For the love of all that is holy PLEASE just watch the original movie which was nominated for eleven Oscars (and the only reason it didn't win any of them is that it was 1985).

Yes. A Tony award winning musical. It keeps all the heart, all the emotion, and all of the brutality and sadness of the book AND movie.

Wonka and The Color Purple for me on this list. The former just looks like it has heart and could be fun. The later was the best musical I have seen on stage and I am so thrilled that it's adaptation is coming to the big screen! She is HERE!

Gene Wilder will forever be Wonka. My thought was UGH why is it necessary to re-do this story again especially after the unappealing Depp version. This Chalamet version features some of my favorite British actors. May need to give it a chance. Oh my Menus=Plaisirs: Les Troisgros speaks to my heart, a must see.
