I think it was a smart move not including Starscream. Notice how the roster seems to lack any flying characters so the car racing aspect still works. A jet would either be stuck flying 5 feet from the ground, or completely break the game by flying across the whole map.

Could be a balance that it’s easy to disable the flight mode. It seems its own thing and that it wouldn’t jive well with the rest of the combat mechanics and maps. Could make it a special power up.

@@ssgss03 It's not even that tbh, I was more just trying to say that OP's post was stupid because cam even says in his video that this game isn't going to be for everyone, It's clearly meant for younger audiences like he said. Now I don't know who hurt OP but the reason I assume people are upset at this is beacuase reactivate hasn't gotten any news in terms of development. The last official update in terms of news we got for this game, was that the game was switching engines to Unreal 5. And that was after small cinematic trailer we got which was back in 2022, a full year ago. I understand that game development takes a while, but people are undertandably upset because, Splash Damage had a chance to show or even tell us about the game at the Summer Games Fest or The Xbox game showcase, and they didn't show for either. Personally I don't really care, cause if splash damage is under some contract by hasbro or they just want to keep things on the down low till the game releases, they are well within there right to do so. It's pretty common from my understanding, that alot of AAA studios will keep quiet on games they develop until they have a solid release window. I want to be excited for reactivate but honestly, With the studio changes and the engine switching and, the lack on any significant news or updates from hasbro & Splash Damage, I wouldn't be suprised if this game ended up on an episode of Wha Happun.

I was hoping for something closer to the Transformers Kart concept - which was a Mario-Kart-Like game with a "rider" bot and "kart" bot in alt-mode. The gimmick was that the two partners could exchange roles at will. This doesn't seem as cute as that, with the combat interludes between the death races. Hopefully the gameplay is good.

I'm happy we got some Femcons. Not often that female Cons get to be playable. I love how since the gameplay is ground focused that they chose Arcee and Elita-1 for fembots and Flamewar (very obscure character) and Nightbird for femcons. These 2 femcons are not very commonsly seen, Flamewar for being obscure, and Nghtbird since she's ussually a Human creation sometimes turned Decepticon. Now let's how Reactivate does release and the War For CYbertron trilogy, Devastation and ol movie games can get a modern release. Would especially love the movie games maybe with updated graphics if possible. But at least just releasing them as buyable on modern consoles and with reactivated multiplayer would be awesome enough.
