You start the introduction out saying there more products for those who don’t like to run and gun, but everything you talked about in the video with exception to the last stand is designed for exactly that.

I just can't imagine spending $300 or more on a hang on stand. Just seems wild to me.
@fastmattmattmatt7 ай бұрын
Depends how you hunt. What does 1 solitary stand location cost? $150 minimum? Instead of hanging 12 sets at $150 a piece, you can buy a hang and hunt setup and have the freedom to go wherever you want and save money in the long run.

Lone wolf custom gear was making some. Not sure if they are still available.

Novix double step full size sticks are top tier. I don't get how people use mini sticks, like do you only get 10 feet off the ground? I like to be 15-20ft in a tree you can't do that with mini sticks
@bowhuntordie Жыл бұрын
A lot of people are running aiders along with their sticks.

They need to make climbing sticks that don't sit so close to the tree especially when big warm boots are in use they never have had them why not?
@Bobbers_Outdoors Жыл бұрын
This was a concern of mine too. If you dig around there are some decent options. Xop long sticks. Some from lone wolf custom gear. The new latitude carbon SS. Timber ninjas. Lots of guys with big boots have approved of these and some others

If the tree I want to hunt can take a climber I’ll use the climber 10 times outta ten , if the tree I need to be in has branches or anything else I use my sticks and helo
@Bobbers_Outdoors Жыл бұрын
I got rid of my climber. You have much fewer tree options with branches. I can set my hang on just as fast with less effort. Hang ons offer much greater ergonomics and mobility about the platform for difficult shots.

So I can see the vertical is looking at comfort where as the other are not if you can’t be comfortable then why spend that much money because you won’t be in the tree long enough. I purchased a Loggy Bayou in the 80’s and it was comfortable and light weight gave it to my son I ask him about it every year he says he still has it but I haven’t seen it so I guess he sold it are it got stolen because he hunts public 🤷🏼♂️
