I know you weren't happy with the refresh, but I actually liked the way it came out! 🤷🏽‍♀️ I like the innersense foam for dry refreshing! The curlsmith one works pretty well too! I do more of a curl by curl refresh though, mostly the curl clumps in the front. I take a curl grouping & lightly finger twirl it... I call it a finger twirl lol. It's a lazier, looser version of a finger coil that works well in my dry hair. Sometimes I will lightly glaze & scrunch in some foam throughout my whole head right before I wrap my hair in a scarf for bed time, but I can definitely see how that isn't going to work for everyone. But I usually I stick to just curl by curl, & then I will pixie diffuse wherever I refreshed

I use praying hands to refresh with the foam! It works so much better!

Your 3 day refresh is what my hair does. Just the very top or outside layer of my hair gets restyled. Our hair is too dense. I think foam refresh work for those with low density. I have to spray with water to reactivate my stylers and then go in with more. Or style my hair UP 😁

I was not a fan of the Refresh Mousse either. It created a soap-like sticky lather in my hair and ended up making my hair flat and frizzy. My best defined curls still come from Not Your Mother's Curls mousse, which is about a third of the cost.

Is there such a thing as unscented products or products that do not have a strong chemical smell because I would love to wear my hair wavy curly, but I find that most of the products almost knocked me out because I’m so sensitive to all the chemical smell and all the super sensitive everything andI’m getting a little discouraged because pretty much everything I’m trying way too smelly and it just bothers me too much

Have you ever used the Reflex Serum to SOTC? That's how I prefer to use it, and I also refresh with it.

Hi Chelle I tried this by itself and was a pass for me not near enough hold The Doux mousse def I get better hold especially if I layer it ( in shower then again after I'm dressed)

I'd love to see how this performs alongside a medium or strong hold gel! So far I haven't had much luck with the Treluxe products I've tried- & I REALLY wanted to like reflex! Everything about it seems like it should be perfect for my hair; the ingredients, the consistency, but I've actually just given up on it completely. I've tried it with so many other products & more than one method of application (like brushing it thru, like I do with the curl keeper original styler, I've glazed & scrunched, & I've done brushing it thru followed by scrunching it in) & various amounts 🤷🏽‍♀️ The hi-def gel just isn't it for me either, but I haven't given up on it yet. Only used it 3 times, & one of those times (the worst one) was with the reflex serum. The other 2 were just meh. You always get nice results from this brand!

I've been testing this product since it came out and it works amazing for a braidout! Lasted a full week before starting to lose definition. I've been doing more for braidouts since my wave pattern has been acting up lately. Gives great volume but I'm tempted to try it with a gel. This foam is almost like a foam-to-cream for me when I brush it through

I recently got the kerotin scalp serum drops (that's not what it's called lol but I don't recall the name), it's my 1st product from them but I got it off amazon, and it has really helped soothe my scalp. It's supposed to help with hair growth & shedding, but I'm happy even if it doesn't because my scalp loves it! I don't use it everyday, so far I've used it about 3 times in the 10 days & I haven't had that tight scalp feeling or & severe itching/dryness & irritation.

That’s great! I love Kerotin products! I have a scalp oil from them too. Not sure if it’s the same one? I think they have more than one but I like it to refresh with as well!

This has nothing to do with this video, but could you do a video on who should avoid silicones in which products? I’m not CGM but I would like to try the Verb ghost mask deep conditioner, but the second ingredient is dimethicone. I have loose curls and fine hair that’s prone to build up, and while I know I could get a heavy silicone off in a finishing oil I’m more worried that it will cause issues in a deep conditioner
