There's such a delicate balance between attractive variegation, and sickly looking variegation personally my limit on what I'm willing to spend for a plant has basically stayed around 30 US dollars . Of course all rules are meant to be broken and I spent about $60 on a nicely variegated Thai constellation in July of last year🎉

Actually… you said whats on my mind but its not exactly something i can say out loud at the time of filming out of respect for the owner. Not all variegation look healthy and nice 😅 but somewhere out there, someones into that - which is why I kept some of these thoughts to myself

10 minutes of viewing and I have already fainted in front of so many fascinating variations ! Hahaha ! In Belgium these plants are sold very, very expensive ! €40 for 20 centimeter plants ! But sometimes €200! Is it the same with you, Sean ? Bisous, merci to share your passion with us 🤩😍🥰😘

I think the plant prices are much lower in Thailand and Indonesia, because there are more supply here and also growers. But they become expensive when exported because of shipping risks and export regulations. Thank you for watching by the way! I appreciate it

I'm so excited to see what will hit the USA from these beautiful variants. I live very close to a rare plant nursery, and so far, I haven't seen many of these there, but I will be looking out for them. I love that florida beauty × tortum. Something about those jagged toothy leaves just checks all the boxes for me.

It takes a few years sometimes for stores to have them. Most of the buyers in these shows are growers who plan to propagate them for the market.
