Good day atty the new informative lesson I've learn a lot in this video. Good day atty. In this video, I understand the differents grounds of a New Trial. First , was the errors of law or irregularities that may affect the substantial rights of the accused person during the trial. The offender may be place in what we called Double Jeopardy, which reflects that if once an accused person has been acquitted, convicted, or punished for a particular crime, they cannot be prosecuted or punished again for the same crime in the same jurisdiction. Next in the New Trial was "The New and Main Evidence has been Discovered", meaning to say that if the accused person was considered by the court as guilty and later on they found or discovered a material evidence that the offender are not involved in that case, then he/she will considered as not liable in that lawsuit. On the other hand, was the Ground of the Reconsideration. First, was the Errors of Law and Fact in judgement which requires no further proceedings. That's all atty. Thank you and Godbless!

Good day Atty., Thank you for another insightful video lecture today. After watching the video, I learned the relevant grounds for the new trial and motion to reconsideration. After the Judgment, it was possible to happen to have a new trial. There are two reasons for that. The first is that during the trial, there were errors in legislation or anomalies that jeopardized the accused's substantive rights. Second, new and material evidence was found that the accused may not have discovered and produced at trial with fair caution and that if submitted and admitted would almost certainly alter the verdict. It was an informative and profound video explaining the key points of how a new trial may come, hence, it gives us enlightenment and vital knowledge that we can use in our future field. There are two grounds for New-trial, first, if there are irregularities or errors prejudicial to the substantial rights of the accused have been committed during the trial. I've learned that after the judgment, there's a posibility in having grounds for new trial are, the errors of the law or irregularities for example, the person convict in the particular case and repeated a second time in the same accused and same penalty.
