This is what happens when people realize there is no way to fix things from within the system. Nearly every politician on both sides of the aisle is in the pocket of these private insurers. No matter who is in control of Congress or the White House, a Medicare-for-All socialist overhaul of the American healthcare system WILL NEVER HAPPEN. We can either accept that and allow immense suffering to continue or take whatever action is necessary to overturn the apple cart and make things right. Luigi chose the second path.

@ I agree, I think the Big Food, Big Pharma and Insurance are able to lobby together to keep us sick and unhealthy. While I agree everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, that is not the only problem people face keeping Americans with such a low lifespan. I took two medical classes in high school, and seriously considered being a healthcare professional. The biggest thing I learned is that for the chronic health problems facing many Americans, out solutions don’t prolong life, they just prevent death. Our food in America is unregulated and allowed to have much more sugar than other European countries. I think besides our difference in healthcare access, our Big Food industry also explains our big difference in mortality compared to other nations.

I am deeply contemplating this topic as I deal with my mother’s estate, all of the hospital stays at different hospitals during the run up to her passing as she kept falling & being taken by ambulance to different hospitals for whatever reason…dealing with insurance, the hospitals, & just wanting to be done with it so I can rest & release the stress after what was already a very traumatic period during the last few months of her life. I want it to be done & I’m so frustrated. I’m also just so disappointed that half of the country chose someone who only wants to prop up the billionaires & expand their wealth. They don’t have to deal with the f*cking bullshit. That CEO wouldn’t have to deal with the insurance bullshit that he makes his customers deal with. He is above it because of his wealth & status. It’s beyond infuriating

Second comment would be -- I highly recommend the podcast prosecuting Donald Trump, it's been great and extremely informative into our legal system generally and especially into all of Trump's legal issues. One of the things they spoke about was Biden pardoning his son. The likelihood is that he wouldn't have done this if he had stayed in office, but his son was targeted specifically because of Trump, and the reasonable fear is that the Trump administration would punish Hunter unnecessarily harshly simply because of a vendetta against the Biden administration.

Agree 100% on Heretic!! I absolutely loved it and there was so much great symbolism I could go into but I also was disappointed that they didn't get more psychological. I was hoping they would go through more trials and it would be less literal. That being said, there was something I liked about it too… Recognizing that he's just some crazy sociopath and a sociopath isn't necessarily perfect at executing their ideas… In fact that's the point, the narcissism creates failings and gaps, as it did here. I really wanted the doors to lead to different places, but then I fell in love with the symbolism that truth is truth regardless of whether you go down the belief or disbelief path! Literally could talk for hours (and have, with friends) about all the different symbolism in this film. And I like that you can interpret it however you want when you walk out of there. I think that's actually very powerful.

Maybe Tanner should get insured if he has vitiligo. Autoimmune diseases are fun that way (meaning the opposite) that once you have one, the prospect of you getting another one increases. Vitiligo might be quite harmless (I don’t have any experience), but some other autoimmune conditions need more medical intervention. I'm just relieved to be born in Europe with my complex medical condition.
