New truck pricing...what's going on?

I just bought a 2016 f150 xl with 101A package 4x4 crewcab with great 20 inch alloy rims and a bedliner for 32K and change. I couldn't believe it. This was in Charlotte NC. I only have 300 miles on it but I sure like it so far. Beautiful truck, the 2.7 really gets up and goes.

Everything you said is very true. Even if I won the lottery, I would only buy a XL level truck, rugs do not belong on the floor of a pickup truck. And every year, they add more and more to the XL level, and, of course, the price goes up because of that. When you buy a XL, it is what is called just a basic truck but compare it to one of the past, the new ones have a lot more on them right from the factory that used to be an option years ago.

Just bought a 2018 F150 XLT 4X4 Super cab with 302a package, spray in bed liner, chrome package, 40 console 40 front seats, tow package. $40,200 out the door! I'm happy!

I just let the dealership i have a fully loaded jeep grand cherokee limited and the f150 comes with nothing i was so disappointed i would have to give up all my luxury to downgrade to the f150 come on ford stop robbing consumers!!
