I’m ashamed to say, just because of the length of time it takes to download ps1 roms, I was to lazy to do this myself and spent a good chunk of money (they aren’t cheap) ordering all 4 of the previous true blue sticks in one go - I’ve got flash carts for everything and looking back it was a totally stupid thing to do. Half the games don’t work, many suffer from graphical glitching up the longer you play (Blood Omen was a notable one, if you go into the sub menu the whole status bar will be glitched) and some 2 disk games like Resident Evil 2 aren’t set up properly - in RE2 you could only play Leon A, then it was game over because there was no Clair disk to switch to. I wound up just doing the mod myself and can now play any game I want, don’t give these clowns your money look up how to do it at a fraction of the cost.

i have a great selection of my PS 1-3 games in different genres and kept them in mint condition playing it only once or twice and had a STRONG feeling of a future Sony gaming console like the PS 5 which is fully backwards compatible in 2020 glad i didn't sale my selections away that my wife was trying to make me do. sometimes being stubborn can be a blessing for something i enjoy doing as a non gamer. i,ll always love her and try to get her to play them with me. Remember no matter how stressful things might be have fun and enjoy yourself and your family.

The Namco Museum with just the letter "R" on the cover is entitled "Namco Museum Encore.". We all know that there were 5 volumes of Namco Museum with each one bearing each letter of Namco on the cover. As time progressed, volumes 2, 4, & 5 were discontinued and volumes 1 & 3 were brought back under the "Greatest Hits" series. Well, in Japan only, Namco released a 6th volume entitled "Namco Museum Encore.". This is the one with the "R" on the cover. BTW, as for the Greatest Hits editions of vol 1 & 3, each one was published with 2 different covers.

There's another Plug N Play USB, Gamebox which has 7000 games(!) You can find it on ebay but search "Game enhancer PS1 classic". Some sellers even mixed it with Trueblue name but photos showed Gamebox label on the usb stick.

its not just preference some people just aren't in the mood to do homework, study what bin/cues are, what modding is all about, some people dont even have high speed internet so downloading 40 gigs might be cumbersome or they may have to learn about 7zip, winrar and where to get roms and yada yada yada. some kids just want to play games. but of course there are those who may already have terabytes of games on at their disposal and they may already be familiar with homebrews jailbreaks and modding so to them its a little more easier. but even them they can deny that it requires time, they dont just wake up one day and have a full grasp of how Retroarch and emulators work. some people just wanna play games with no fuss

The only problem I'd with the other packs: crackhead; meth; weed; and fight (I had all four) was while perusing the games I discovered I could only save so many states, a small pool to use with dozens of games I wanted to play further. There was no option delete the old auto-saves. Playing RPGs without a way to save is pointless.

@@redbeardnj Well the trade-off is: if you're like me and don't know the PS1 library all that well, using the TruBlu packs STILL saves you an incredible amount of time and storage space downloading and decompressing ISO's.

@@billmcleod353 yea, my main problem is that my tv only has 4 hdmi inputs. And they're used up by xbox,ps4,cable, and a sound bar. I have each setup specific, so it's a pain to unplug one and change settings etc. I made the mistake of getting rid of my old tv. Still never hooked up my Switch yet either lol. I'm self employed, and work alot. So I buy stuff and never have the time to play:(

I have the first three sticks, as I was already out of it by the time the 'Weed' pack came out. The Fight stick works, but one of the other two quit working, and the one that still does "work" only loads a fraction of the time. I literally bought the thing as a novelty, and hoped these sticks would give it some life support, but alas.

Its funny u mention problems in games. I was playing Chrono Trigger on DS and encountered that problem if u use the hacked version. It sux so bad! Lol I looked it up and it was pretty well known at the time it came out so yeh now I'm back playing it on Super Nintendo as I went for that version instead of PS for some reason but spewing heard the DS ones good. I saw a review on Amazon saying that these devices inject a script to your PS classic that makes it unable to use any other USB drives and stuff like Bleemsync in the future.

they dont. That was a myth lol. people were spreading that around early on as the True Blue usb's had something on them to make them not easily copied or have the games dumped. Its been dispelled, it doesnt inject anything to prevent you from using other builds. I have personally tested this as well.
