All of Gohan Beast's skills got an update, some are just different sound effects but others like his evasive ones are way better! Heck, his evasive is ACTUALLY GOOD now!

It's okay now. It still can't be used as a guard counter like the original Evil Whirlwind and the evasive will only protect you from beams.

I think UI might genuinely be like top 5 awoken skills in the game now, it already had good mechanics like the built in charge and the built in counters but now it doesn't waste your ki when you transform AND you can ki cancel, making you super hard to hit on top of the auto dodge

If ki cancelling is a feature, there should be a dialogue option that says ‘no ki cancels please!’ And ‘are you ok with ki cancels?’ That way, it is at least a bit less annoying to deal with, since you know going into it that they are going to start doing it.

Idk man, i still think UI not giving stat buffs is really underwelming when it takes the awoken slot, id say at least make so you do not lose it when stamina broken or give it a +15% damage to strike and ki moves but let the melee damage the same since its counter scales out of it

Baiting someone with something like a ki blast to think I'm committing, then letting the UI dodge give me the advantage state is something I've did with UI Goku before. It can be really effective in scrambles.

UI is supposed to be activated mid-combat. Hence the counter-attack animation. Awoken skills aren't supposed to be activated at the start of fights, most are activated after a combo.

seee the problem with that is that it's so long, they can break your stamina at the very start of the transformation, and near the end, easy peasy. So while you can use it mid combat, you might end up never being able to

Something I learned, after I started watching this video I went and tested, booth the soaring fist and Spirit pulse are still doable, and unlike before you can combo after using the soaring fist. So it got an offensive buff too.

I was wrong about one thing they did fix demon flash strike, i wonder what else they changed did they nerf any of the meta moves? Good to see ulta instinct get a buff with the ki you now keep it instead of losing the 5 ki bars when you transform, however its still not the best transformation, like beast it leaves you open if you mistime it.

Beast gohan's evasive is buffed so it has evasive armour for the entire thing rather than half of it. And it's actually a good evasive now

What do we think about ki cancels and guard mashing not costing any resources in return? You can just do it and you doing have anything against you when you do. With guard mashing, they should just have the guard frames be prolonged so it can't be mashed as quick as it does now. I'm not really sure how they would limit ki cancels tbh

With how ridiculous ki cancels and stuns can be in XV2, they only way to balance it, is to remove it, but they've doubled down on it so I guess it's here to stay I was never a fan of it so I don't use it, but I don't really mind if people use it, just not so religiously that it's annoying

@@dbzfreak08 yeah, that's what I meant as to remove it, but genuinely i don't think the fans would enjoy that, I think ki stuns are more of a problem than cancels, being able to confirm a combo from mid to long range is ridiculous for a free tool in neutral I think if a ki stun hits you, you should be put in the free fall state, rather than the stagger, so that way mid range and further you can roll out of it and defend yourself

The perfect way to nerf ki stuns is to give everyone Toppos armor, Toppo is immune to ki stuns, this will still let people cancel out of animations but stop the stun part which is the most annoying part of them.

@@xenoplayz4524 I actually agree! I like the idea of everyone having some sort of resistance against a regular ki stun since it really shouldn't be a way to start combos imo. I can understand people wanting to use a ki stun to get out of a long animations like Z Gogeta's/SS4 Gogeta's upward flip kick or for characters that are slower in some ways. I also sort of thing these ki blasts could use a revamp entirely. Having to hold circle for a long time to get a charged ki blast kind of sucks when for bomb ki blasts you can only hold it for a short amount of time and get its full effect. It would've been cool if ki blasts has different properties mid combo.

tbh ki canceling isnt even that bad i can get around that. the ki stunning is pretty annoying but i can get around that too. when ppl start ki stunning back to back even 3 times in a row sometimes thats when i was done with this game. that and hit ki cancel/stun since it always tracks to ur position.

Edit: Just realized he already knew about it. Leaving this here to show how Dumb I am. By the way, you can still using the Soaring Fist Ki Blast by just holding the button for a split second. Holding it longer brings out the Spirit Pulse move, and if you just tap it it is a regular ki blast. So if you want a combo extender, I just use the Soaring fist version.
