Edit: From people in the comments who are more experienced than me, I learned that my calculations below are rather *not* correct. The damage this tech deals is somewhere around 60. Which is still a lot (half of Pinos's HP) If you want, my original ramblings are still kept below, but understand that they are not to be treated as truth. First step (only using the first coin and ending at punching it): We have the primary hit from the railcannon dealing 8 damage, then after first railcoin (assumming that it hit the cerb) it deals additional 10 damage + the coin punch dealing 2. It ends with final 12 damage (11 + 1 from coin punch). 8 + 10 + 2 + 12 = 32 damage in total. (enough to kill a mindflayer, or a non-boss ferryman) First plus second step (we throw in another three coins) So I believe that the 12 damage shot now goes to hit the coin behind cerb going straight through him, it then pierces him once more dealing 13 damage. And in similar fashion it happens two more times dealing 14 and 15 damage each. 32 + 13 + 14 + 15 = 74 (ALMOST enough to kill a non-boss insurectionist, or a hideus mass) Everything combined We just whiplash the last coin (already inside of the cerb ) it resets that coin and places it higher. That makes it deal the final shot with value of 16. WHICH ENDS UP MAKING THIS MANEUVER DEALING 90 FUCKING DAMAGE. AND IT ONLY TAKES 3 FUCKING SECONDS TO DO. SISIPHUS PRIME DOES HIS 2,5 SECOND TAUNT AND GUESS WHAT IN THEESE THREE SECONDS HE LOSES HALF OF HIS HP. Ridiculous. I love this community

I wouldn't trust this being correct, from my experience railcoins can have some wierd damage values, especially when punches get involved. Although i know for a fact it would be very close to if not better than a regular rcp (60 damage)

Uh i think the way the damage adding on railcoins works is that in the example that the railcoin hits 4 coins, all 3 first hits will do the base 8 damage, but the last will get the extra 4 damage. Only the last his gets the extra total damage from the coins, therefore the real damage done is actually way less than what you said, and closer to a 60 damage railcoinpunch, as dougal said

for anyone struggling with the basic version, i found it easiest to actually dash slightly before shooting the railcannon, shooting the railcannon right before you pass to the other side of the enemy. it gives you more time to land the coin punch

@@broohmygod mindflayers: FYI this tech actually does enough DMG to kill mindflayers, WITH 1 COIN. Pretty convenient considering it can be done midair as I said. and I don't agree that rcps are easier, I actually consider them quite harder, as the specific movement/timing they require to ensure the coin is in the correct position to be punched is nowhere near as bad as the timing/movement needed for this tech.

since when you punch a coin it becomes hitscan until it reaches its target, and hitstop allows for the railcannon to be delayed at a location until the coin reaches its target and becomes a coin again, yes

I've experimented with railslabcoins before, they require a very high amount of setup and don't give much in return, but you can try if you want.

I done some testing and i have discovered some things: 1: I found the way to make the first part easier You wait until the coin shines and shoot and dash at the same time 2: this only work on sisyphus (You can’t dash thru insurrectionist or hideous mass/ v2, gabriel and minos hitboxes are too small to do the full damage combo and v2 and gabriel all have physics)

There's a list of super heavy enemies on the wiki, that's all the enemies that can't be dashed through. For a hitbox like Minos, you need to stand further back when tossing coin, as you want it to be as close to him as possible for the most damage.

it technically does but at this point the tech doesn't really have a good spot to sit on with a lot of the enemies already having more convenient instakill strats maybe it could be an optimal strat for ferryman instakills but using more than 2 coins to kill one of them in cg sounds a bit wasteful for higher waves (ledge camping already trumps ferrymen over anyway)

That does, like, a quarter of the damage this setup should theoretically achieve and it requires you to: 1. Not use the superior sawblade launcher 2. Actually hit all the nails (magnet will be destroyed fairly quickly when using this method, and it can't reliably attract nails from a distance) Also, way less dopamine is generated and you don't get anywhere near as much style.
