I think the key to all of this is that the dev didnt make mechanics/ interactive elements resrictive, like “ you can only jump off of blue walls” but instead its the exceptions where mechanics don’t interact. than means most objects are parriable/hitable, and its only very particular things that negate those mechanics. making mechanics universally applicable at first, and making restrictions few and far between for the sake of gameplay only. Targeted exceptions first instead of targeted rules first. I think there's a chance that, when Hakita announced that infinite coin-juggle-damage nerf, the timeline split in two. In our timeline, the any% run of the full game will be largely as it is now in nature, just with the rest of the levels. In the alternate timeline, we have a speedrun where, every few levels, we watch V1's fist acquaint a coin with the interior decor for a few seconds before erasing a boss from existence. Postulating aside though, excellent video. I'll probably end up cybergrinding out a new high score before the next major update hits, thanks to you and this wonderful community

Something important about Gabriel railcoining is that, in my testing, I've found that the technique becomes extremely reliable if you jump after throwing the first coin. In my many, many gabriel runs, I found that, so long as I could get in position to 4x rail coin him, jumping after the first time would result in maximum damage 100% of the time. The damage is identical to the coin add technique you showed at the end of the video, though it might also be a bit more reliable.

Another way of lining up a coin punch is in a slide and looking straight up, you will meet the coin on its trajectory, and can punch several in a row(The timing for hitting more then 2 in a row is a little tricky). Not as useful compared to the quick coin punches from back walk and you need a stretch to slide on since it takes about 2 secs for the coins to meet your slide(dash slide can keep you safe during it), but whipping around and shooting your punched coins in the slide looks kinda cool.
