Avon nail polish used to have a scalloped long handle, and a slight angle on the top of the handle. So easy to open...and so easy to keep twirling right out of your fingers and onto the table, floor, your outfit...😄

The cereal boxes especially Frosted Flakes with Tony the Tiger who says “Their Great!” Look like what I grew up with in the70’s The long white lid is on nail polish. That also was very common to see. It made application of polish easier. Fresca is a grapefruit taste soft drink.

So even the hard plastic disks of the 90s were still floppy disks! They just made the floppy disk smaller and encased it in plastic to protect it and make it more durable. I would just call that kind of computer disk a 3.5" floppy disk. I think the holographic ones you got are meant to be actually floppy floppy disks, and the flat film canister is probably supposed to be 16mm video film (not reel-to-reel, you would load it directly into a video camera)🤗

This is off the topic, but the series 3 disney store mini brands, you should give a try. The last two series they had were garbage, but series 3 are really good. The box style ones actually have things in them, vhs disney movies with the vhs in them, I don't want to give too much away, but mini brands have upped their game.

The little plastic A:/ 3.5 Floppy Discs, they had big ones with games on that were floppier. There was also Zip discs which were smaller and able to save more on them as they compressed files.

Omg the VHS tape!! My dad used to put old Christmas movies and music on those! Also I've had Fresca before, I first tried it back in high school but it made my stomach hurt for some reason. It's actually a grapefruit soda but it kinda tastes like a sweeter version of 7UP/Sprite (from what I remember).

In the 80's we rented a reel to reel player from our library to watch movies on the wall. We could also rent a VCR a little later on. It was huge and came in a big bulky plastic box with a hinge. lol

These came out in my Target the same time as Spa, Disney series 3 and Garden and they were all on an endcap away from the regular minibrand isle. I’m 3 shy of finishing the set, its funny but I actually pulled 2 of the frozen moments and all 6 of the gold/metallics before finding the Dinty Moore Beef Stew. Currently I’m just missing the corn flakes frozen moment, the home and garden magazine and the hersheys box.

Fresca came out to the public in 1964. It came out by Coke as a mixer to mix with alcohol. It’s a grapefruit flavor carbonated soda. It still is a favorite mixer.

I remember watching The Partridge Family and The Munsters and I Dream of Jeannie etc. I also remember the vintage commercials… “it’s not nice to fool Mother Nature” Edit: there’s this person on TikTok who buys and restores vintage nail polish and that looks like some of the old bottles. The products seem to be from many different time frames. I believe the tin of Crayola are from the 1930s maybe! I grew up with many of the other products you have, however. I remember Fresca, the Revlon nail polish, I used floppies a lot as I did not have a hard drive in my first home computer! That was in 1986 or 87 I believe. Of course the cereal boxes all seem to be the ones we had as kids. And I remember that if you didn’t drink the V8 quickly enough in the big can the top, and sometimes the contents became very thick and yucky! The cans of Hershey syrup did that too! Fresca was a grapefruit ish flavor. It had to go away because it had saccharine, and has been reformulated with Splenda, iirc. The whole saccharine/aspartame/Rumsgeld/Reagan boondoggle is fascinating and makes me mad. The last thing is probably 8mm tape for home movies.

That's 8 millimeter develop film . When we had those silent cameras back in the 50s and 60s that's what that is. You had to have a projector to play them and your own screen🎥📽🎞📹 I had one I put them all on dvds
