i believe that the feigned toughness thing is a toughness bar that can be depleted by any element, and it allows you to break twice, even though the enemy is already ‘broken’ when they reach the feigned toughness state. ive seen this in the recent leaked showcases, do correct me if im wrong about anything.

Dang that's nice for breaking character, I thought hoyo will Nerf break character by introducing the enemy with block toughness skills, however it seems that is not the case. Break characters will get harder to power creep.

I really don't understand why we gotta bring Tingyun back, I swear these new players in these games like star rail or Genshin would have never survived playing the Honkai impact story. They're dead just face that fact, we already had to with Himeko in Honkai impact. Sure she's back now but they never brought her back in that game except as a flash back. Almost ruins the story in Genshin a bit because the deaths of characters actually add twists and shocks to the story but unfortunately after Tingyun and even Signora we're not allowed to kill off anyone else anymore and it kidna ruins the story a bit, makes it too happy and straightforward. And can't forget players will riot that they're beloved character dies, what are you gonna do in the real world boycott God or something if a loved one passes? Apologies ofc I mean no offense as the death of a loved one is very tragic but still

She says that March's experiences on new planets will create a unique memory. Black Swan and Garden of Recollection are eager to see what kind of unique memorias March can make. In the recent story, March is learning Xianzhou Swordplay. Her new gameplay animation shows that she is following remembrance path storywise, because she keeps trying to remember her masters' teaching.

@1:09 A NEW toughness type will be introduced.... So Firefly is already dead. 😂 Yep. I called it. E6 your favorite DPS or prepare for them to be obsolete. Firefly and Boothill doesn't have anything that applies to feigned toughness. So they will be substituted with characters in the future who are efficient at breaking both toughness bars.

Its strong buff for Firefly and Boothill, as they can proc their break twice, and this one even don't have element restriction, so you can deplete it with any char

I don't believe that Hoyoverse would make the game easier instead of harder to encourage pulls for 3.0 characters. If I'm wrong, that'd be awesome. But going by how HSR has been up til now, I don't believe I am. There's probably a catch to this system that will push people to pull in 3.0. I think this is also why they're giving old characters new paths so that they're usable in the new system (to some degree). Either way, time will tell, right?

I don't believe they'd develop a new mechanic that wouldn't push you to replace your old characters with new ones. They're free to prove me wrong though. But this situation reeks of: new enemies = buy the upcoming 3.0 characters to counter them.
