Hello everyone, the winners of this month's giveaway have been announced, but don't worry if you didn't win because I will be hosting another giveaway of 20 Welkins when we reach 90k subscribers. We are currently at 82k, so I'm hoping we can hit our target before version 4.8 releases.
We have received the data on the number of primogems we will get in the next patch from the beta testers, and the numbers are not looking good at all. The 4.8 update is expected to be released on July 17th, and we are exactly one month away from that. But before that, the banners of Clorinde and Alhaitham are currently up on all servers. Here's how you can save some money if you've run out of primogems but still want to pull for them.

Coming back to our topic: Even though 4.8 is not a filler patch, we will get fewer primogems compared to previous filler patches like version 4.7 or 4.5. As you guys might already know, we always get a temporary map at the end of every region's arc. The 4.8 update will be the last update of the Fontaine arc, and we will get a temporary map called Simulanka. But even though we are getting a new map, the number of primogems will be far less than the current 4.7 patch, which is considered to be a filler patch.
Anyway, let's start counting the number of primogems we will get in the 4.8 update. First things first: as soon as version 4.8 is up, we will all receive 600 primogems from Hoyoverse as compensation for server maintenance. Then come the daily commissions, and we can get 2,520 primogems over the course of 42 days.
Since we are getting a new map, we will get around 1,035 primogems from exploration, which is way too low considering the size of the map. Hoyoverse will release Emilie as the latest playable character, so we will get a new story quest in 4.8, and that will obviously be for Emilie, so we can get 60 primogems for completing her quest.
Moving on to the events: the main event of 4.8 is called Summertide Scales and Tales, and we will get 1,000 primogems, a free copy of Kirara, her skin, and some other character-level up materials. Other than the main event, we will get 3 mini-events as well, each rewarding 420 primogems, so we can get a total of 2,260 primogems from the events in 4.8.
Moving on to the Spiral Abyss: if we consider the reset on July 16th, which is a day before the 4.8 release, Spiral Abyss will reset twice during 4.8. So we can get 1,200 primogems if we're able to get 36 stars. Other than the Abyss, the Imaginarium Theatre will reset once on August 1st during the 4.8 update, and we can get 620 primogems from there.
Moving on, we will also get 4 character trials, so we can get 80 primogems from there, 80 primogems from Hoyolab daily check-in, and around 200 primogems from various web events.
Now, the Paimon Shop will reset only once during the 4.8 update, and that too on August 1st, so we can get 5 Intertwined Fates and Acquaint Fates each from the shop. Lastly, the 5.0 special program: we will get 3 redeem codes from Hoyoverse worth 100 primogems each, so we can get a total of 300 primogems from those codes.
So after adding all these numbers, we will get around 9,755 primogems or 60 wishes. Again, that's not a lot, but that's what we'll get in 4.8 if you're a free-to-play player.

Hoyo is highkey unphased by Wuwa release coz they know that players won't leave since natlan is coming. It's psychological torture and they are known for their stingeyness it's sad..

They haven't increased the primos from abyss, they decreased it. Now it's once a month and since most people can't get the primos from level 11 and 12, they will miss even more primo. You would get 600 from clearing level 9 and 10 in both spirals in a month, now you would get 400 from clearing level 9 and 10 once a month.

If anyone is wondering why primos are less then reason is timing of that patch. It is very odd timing and store reset will happen only once, Both abyss and IT will reset only once. Which made potential lose of 10 pulls but it will benifit in 5.0 with having twice store reset and twice IT reset(Abyss only one) with all new map so You can expect around 80+ pulls in 5.0🎉
