Recoil is in best state of all time. There realy is no need to alter it again and community already showed their dissatisfaction toward increased camera shake and recoil when nikita showed it in the stream. Its unbelievable how they constantly try to break something thats not broken.

It’s nice but not at all what it should be. The problem with the recoil before wasn’t the recoil jumpiness it was that the first bullets went to the roof then tapered down, the recoil we have now is too dull

I don’t mind the fog. What I mind is the fact that the fog does not restrict the AIs vision like it does the players. Whatever the fog vision range is set to should be the AIs Agro range. I shouldn’t have bullets coming out of the mist

recoil currently is one of the better iterations we have had. either revert back to 2019-2020 or tweak it a tiny bit right now only a few guns. Most guns are very fun. Making recoil hard only hurts the casual/not very good players. Good players will just put the time in to get good with it and people without the time have really no chance. With recoil how it is currently, a new player with a defualt ak74n can reasonably spray someone down and has a chance to win. With insane visual recoil, he has no chance in hitting 1 bullet even.

The getting acquainted bug is the only thing stopping me from getting Light Keeper, I accepted it and it auto failed despite not running any raids, now it looks to be permanently failed, it's not even on my tasks for Mechanic anymore

You can get the quest back if you kill Zryachiy, you will get a a couple of quests that might be a little grindy but when you finish them you get a quest called Make Amends which is exactly like "Getting Acquainted", unfortunately that quest will also automatically fail.

My opinion on recoil (as an ets tester myself) is that having to pull down while firing is plenty enough because targets move... if the recoil is crazy and the targets moving its basically rng....

had the same prpblem with the cursed gun. i took the gun apart completely and reassembled it. one part wouldnt go back on. that was the problem part. no issues since.

I killed Killa for the first time last night and he just bugged out and never fell over. Couldn’t loot him, my guy was just standing still after I killed him. Earlier in the match Killa was running around shooting for 15 mins while I was stashing my Gzhel-k by the stage, I spawned on the opposite side.

If you hit him with a knife repeatedly while he's glitched out like that, your strength will fly up as well, so if it happens again to another boss spam knife the stood up body haha

The AKM had a very distinctive initial straight pushback to then wildly moving up after a few shots and then pattern spreading. I swear it didn't feel like that beginning of this wipe. It could be that it just felt radically difference since the recoil was new and I'm misremembering it?

The explanation at the end is totally what happened to the armor plate system which I thought the actual size of there hit box was cool. I believe that an overhaul of the health system would make that system work. Like maybe switching over to a vitals system over a torso hitbox and no I’m not advocating for more neck throat one taps. I believe it could of been balanced and worked on instead of being removed completely due to the communities Complaining

OR at least start with rebalansing ammo damage stats to fit into the world where any bullet can hit thorax directly. They kind of forgot to do that and we ended up with lots of high damage ammo wich often time could one shot you while being sprayed from smg at 900 rpm in your general direction. This was the problem, not that vital hitboxes crap people keep repeating after each other.

i worry so much about any changes to recoil... they FINALLY got the memo and made the weapon recoil feel like it was actually attached to the player character instead of just floating in the air spinning around the trigger guard. It feels like its anchored to the shoulder, the weapons recoil in a predictable way(cuz the impetus for the recoil motion moves predictably, go figure... weapon actions arent random number generators) if they think pistols are weird, yeah they are... the pistols need to have their axis moved towards the wrist, they seem to recoil like rifles but if theyre ignored for now thats fine since they arent exactly the primarily used weapons.

I made a video about this a while back… Listen. Nikita doesn’t want this to be a fast paced “aimer takes all” type of game. That should be clear. Recoil is not necessarily the problem. The problem is how accurate people are using a mouse as compared to IRL with a firearm. IRL, your hands shake a bit. Holding your breathe doesn’t remove that. Half of the clips that WillerZ or CoolDee post (although very good) should not be possible in Tarkov.

I like current recoil because previously there was THE recoil and m4 and aks74u felt the same (with first full auto shot being like its ak, if you ever shot any ak and m4 full auto platform you know what I mean). Now it feels different but not for every gun

They need to work on aim flinch/punch more. Sure if I'm getting shot by an ash-12 I'm fine with my guy being useless but if I'm getting plinked by 9mm ap I shouldn't have aim punch unless he hits an arm/neck. This also ties into the stamina loss from taking damage imo, I'm so tired of having more than half a bar of stamina just to get shot and have 0 stamina.

“Cursed guns” have invalid parts on them. Disassemble them entirely, and reassemble. You will find a part that no longer fits. Helmets too.

The M700 was the cursed gun I had. If I have any base version of the model 700 in my stash, any raid I finished solo wouldn’t count (task included) although I wouldn’t loose the gear I had on me, still frustrating. (PvE)

The recoil was peak like 2 wipes ago now. Shooting guns isn't exactly a hard task. I miss the armor change that happened a couple wipes ago too. I played the entire wipe using a Block 1 M4 and m855. I was killing and having tons of fun. But then too many people stated whining they were getting smoked by HP rounds while wearing a slick and getting a 54R HP to the chest under the arm.

I do belive that pvp should be getting the majority of attention due to the fact that it's pvp as there is probably more things that need to be held to be together, and of course that means pve gets less attention, however I don't remember if it was bsg or a streamer who said it but they basically said pve has little to no staff working on it which kinda hurts to hear as even tho I'm a sole pve player now, I still want both pve and pvp to do well as I want this game to go to full release 😅

Recoil is fine but after the last rework i've allways found the first burst to be way too precise, like you can burst fire 5 6 shots of a stock m4 and be pin point accurate if you're good enough dragging down the mouse for the right amount, definitely a slight increase in orizontal recoil would be better just so that you can't laser beam with every weapon even at 100m if you're prone

People get upset quick if you can't easily aim a full auto weapon on target at medium ranges, which you are not supposed to be able to do regardless of how good you think you can aim a real gun. 50 meters out you are not hitting a human target with most of your shots and keep your iron sight or red dot on target on full auto. Certainly not have clear visibility of your aim on target.

Has anyone else got the unlootable Boss bug? I killed sanitar 3x yesterday but wasn't able to loot him and get the bag needed for a quest. He died but was still shooting his VAL for minutes and couldn't be looted.

Bruh, they are not changing the recoil... That was the point of video, they are changing animation of guns after shooting a bullet (guns are stiff now when shoting, after they will look more naturally) and it has 0 impact on the recoil..

Cosmetic still impacts how the game feels to play. If the actual recoil is fine, but it looks like your holding onto a paint shaker, it's still going to suck to play.
