You're retarded. Gold glitches are not difficult to fix which is why they're resolved quickly. Furthermore, using a mod disables achievements. No one cares if you use a mod to get an advantage, but it is unimpressive when you use glitches to get achievements. That's why they're called "achievements"

The way it's set up now is you need to give it its own inventory to do that, which can be a little funky. Of course given time and focus the devs could have probably coded a workaround that just puts the items in the owner's inventory. Anyway since they probably won't do that at this point, there's a mod for that. Go get it.

Phalar Aluve Shirek forces NPCs to run from you, as far as you'd like with the aura up. You can force them away from others and then just rob them blind or kill them after you've leveled/rested the shops for more and more loot. Works exceptionally well at moonrise. Just turn on Shirek out of combat and watch them flee!

Which is terrible if you want achievements and play unmodded but if you don't care about achievements, you can just grab the cheat ring, use the cheat spell and magic in yourself some gold if you need it. Which is why I think it's funny they put so much effort into undoing trader exploits, lol. Umm? Why? Cheaters gonna cheat, lol. It's not like it accidentally pops in anyones game. It's pretty specific and you have to do it on purpose. Gold exploits just give the game more replay value but if you don't like them, you don't have to do them.

Yeah, it was an experience to fight through the Steelforge only to realize that Jaheira didn't join combat and none of the enemies were hostile towards her, so I (after saving as many Gondians as I could) casually strolled past the enemy lines, placed the bomb, Forge went Boom.

I use a Xbox controller with my PC games. One thing I've noticed (and only because I play a multiplayer game with friends) is that with a controller, you don't see *how much* approval other then really basic info - whereas with a keyboard it's more detailed. But it doesn't like you switching between controller & keyboard (you can go that way, but not the other way - have to log right out).

if you had a pact weapon still added to your wares when this went live as long as you don't equip it the weapon will stay as a wares item and the glitch continues to work as before. At least that what happened in my campaign.

The biggest issue I've had with mods (I'm on PS5) is that my game would often crash when sorting my inventory, but that seems to happen less often after this patch. I THINK it has something to do with my Bag of Holding mod, but I quicksave so frequently that I only lost significant progress the first time, and have started quicksaving before sorting. There's also a more minor issue that's really more of an annoyance than problem: there are two mods that are stuck telling me they can be updated and that status won't change even after I've updated them. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled them, and I'm still being told that I can update to the most recent versions.

I am no stranger to using controllers for games that feel like they were designed for them, or some straight up console ports, but BG3 doesn't feel like that... I have so many spells on my wizard it's far easier to click on them with the mouse and I just hate the controller UI, not to mention that some better UI mods don't work with it... I AM, however, using the "walk with WASD" mod and it's working out super well for me.

Just wanted to chime in that PC with controller also refers to Steam Deck users since the deck in handheld mode makes the game default to the console/controller UI and settings. Super happy as a PC player who has over 100+ mods and plays exclusively on Steam Deck! Sad to see the warlock trader glitch go though…guess it’s time to respec again 😅

I have a some weird little bugs in my game. I just can't say if its due to the mods I have or if its innate in game. The only mods I have is UI mods. Issues I'm experiencing in my [regular] game is recruiting Minthara via knockout method results in a NPC call Cerys being a additional fighter in Act 2 yet she resides in Last Light Inn so every time I have Minthara in my party and enter combat, it switches to Cerys [AI] as well during the rotation. Not sure about this one but I felt like back then when I climb cliffs or etc my party would almost instantly climb with me but now they only do it 1 character at a time and I can't go far till everyone climbed otherwise it'll create pathing issues. The final thing I noticed is my Rogue. I can't seem to sneak attack (both melee and range), the option is just grayed out. I tried initiating combat via hide, tried having a companion next to the enemy, even tried doing it from being invisible via Deathstalker mantle. Only thing I haven't tried yet is having the target prone.

They work for me, they work for my girlfriends console, they work in my friends campaign on PC, They work on my ps5 campaign and my pc campaign. Soon are you sure it's a bug or is it specific to you? You may need to re load and unequip then reequip them. Because there's no issue for those for any of my games and I got all three ports of the game

Anyone seeing issues with the mod manager showing a lot of QA mods? Like I see 60 "400mbSizeMod" options. Looks like a bunch of test mods, but none of the normal mods are visible that I'm used to seeing. Also, on the main menu page I'm seeing some strange options on the bottom right of the screen like "Reset Main Mod", "Activate Dev Mod" etc. Looks like a debug version or something? Thankfully my current play through isn't impacted that I can see, but it would definitely be a problem if I want to update mods, etc. Edit: Looks like another update just pushed for me and that seems to have resolved these issues.

I'll just go back to stealing everything from the merchants again, then. The other method saved me about 20 minutes, but it's no biggie. Kind of dumb to put so much effort into what was clearly a game mechanic, which actually made sense from an RP perspective. All they needed to do was add in the merchant thinking all their stuff was stolen when that happened, and then you just tell the merchant, "um, sorry, no idea what you are talking about" like you do when your thief literally STOPS TIME and steals every single piece of enchanted splint mail in a quarter of a second and then disappears out of the door. I'll need to test if the *other one* (involving a certain animal) still works. If it still works, let's stop talking about it, eh Toyhouze? Don't want the bosses getting any ideas now...

I don't understand why larian spends time trying to fix exploits like the warlock pact weapon trade exploit when they could be working on things more impactful. Let people cheat traders if they want to.
