Yes, crusaders use Sacred Chains.. a few of us. I use it in my PVP dash build, video coming, but preview here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppS7gHqkl6eEe9k The Frozen Chains essence we already had is basically AoE stun, but only 3 seconds.. although it does have the potential to reach further since it jumps to the next nearby enemy. Still, the extra second on stun is the way to go, especially with the CC reductions that many of us face. The new stun essence for Falling Sword should be real nice for PVP as well.. It would make all 3 of my offensive skills in the above build be stuns! ..but it would take away 3 dash uses, so should then be built around CC rather than dash. The new Draw and Quarter essence is huge for BG and long needed.

This patch is just an all around win. Curious to see the rewards for fishing in terms of XP. As a casual player it would be nice to semi afk while doing other things and still get some xp rewards.

Please give some HELP to south America servers, we are facing SEVERE bugs whenever we try to go to the castle, rifts, dungeon, battle ground or even the RITE OF EXILE. This past week on one of the servers they were unable to enter the 3x3x3... due this bug, so they were unable to dethrone the immortals

I like the new content being added, fishing yes will ultimately slow the character progression but let’s face it we are nearly at h8 and there is no other hell after that so what do you do then?? I would like then to add a new pvp aspect as battleground and arena is becoming burnt out, it would be cool if you could duel with someone where ever and when ever just like you could in RuneScape,. Not impressed with the normal gem part of it. 19k+ gems is still insane for an R10. Was really hoping they would have allowed different rank gems to be found but also substantially up the amount that can be found. I've managed to get 4 of the 6 legendary gems at 5/5 hovering around R9 but I think it's time to call it quits. The reasoning behind the cost of time and money to acquire a single R10 regular gem is beyond me.

It’s pretty much beyond anyone, unless you are on a dead server with no whales. Took me months of buying every tourmaline like 20 times a day to get one rank 8. Same with all the other gems.

I always prefer to watch you talking about patches than reading by myself. These kind of updates will make me trying D4, but coming back here for grind. As I always said to my friends that asked me what will I do when D4 will be out: ofc I'll try D4... But grinding... Better in a game with constant new content.

@@MK-iq3yy Eh, you can't please everyone. It's a subjective matter of taste. As for me, I like new fishing, new legendaries, new leg gem crafting, new normal gem. Good luck on getting new stuffs on a PC game from Blizzard so often like here. Playing Diablo since '96 and I know that will pass years until an addon, DLC or whatever will be added. This is what I'm talking about. Maybe you expect some totally different areas to farm. Me ? I'm pleased with lil things like I was talking about, too. Cheers.

Are you saying you prefer the grind in DI? In DI you basically just grind legendaries to increase your CR. You can't compare the simplicity of DI to the gear in a real Diablo game. Even D2R has a much more satisfying grind experience without new items being added every month 🤷🏼‍♂️ Also D4 is getting new content every season + it has a transmog feature right from start (which DI still don't has) so I don't get your point.

@@sonoftristram well, as for now, you compare something that exists with something that you hope that will be. Time will tell if D4 will be so awesome compared to DI. don't get me wrong. Ofc will be much more complex in terms of depth and so on. That's why I already told that I will play it for sure. The questionable thing if it will make me staying to grind it after I'll reach the end game. New content every season ? Seems juicy. Will make me play more. Will see. But it's already more expensive than DI if you add to initial price battle passes values. That's not attractive for a f2p player as I am.

@@mimostel I just think there is no real meaningful or fun grind for gear in DI. Once you got your build going you just lvl up gems and farm more legendaries with better stats to increase your CR. The combat feels good and graphics design is very nice for a mobile game which are the main reasons I played it for so long. Playing D4 is a 1 time purchase since seasonal content will be free and premium battle Pass doesn't provide player power in any way like it does in DI. Of course there's a difference to f2p but for a game this size with no caps like DI has it's totally worth it imo. In the end it's totally up to you and you should play what you enjoy the most but for me personally DI just doesn't give me a real Diablo experience.

I use sacred chain already! It’s a great gather with helmet and shoulder slots. It’s good and underused. Dunno about its new version. The chest is very interesting; but immune horse will mean giving up condemn, which might be sad. (Is bone pillar a knock back) The new main hand slot sounds like the first interesting weapon we’ve ever gotten

Ok…something they aren’t being clear. Currently, hidden lair drops 6 gems, and you can farm 12 unbound gems in other dungeon/OW. With this update, You can get 18 gems in hidden dungeon. So does it change the 12 unbound gems from other dungeons/OW?

No. It ADDS 3 more unbound, and 9 unbound FROM LAIR GUARDIANS. This changes the current maximum normal gems per day of 18 to a new maximum of 30. 9 bound and 9 unbound from lairs, and 12 from 4-man groups in open world or dungeons.

I honestly feel like they have no idea about what to do with necromancer in terms of legendaries, Most necromancers uses almost exclusively legendaries from the first batch of initital ones when the game were released. with like 1 exception here and there (mostly cloak of quils for the best pve build) I hope the new main hand can shake it up and actually add a new BIS PVE item into the mix increasing the damage output of both the skeletal reapers and the cloak of quils but depends on the numbers they slapped onto it. Also every time they add more CC immunity necromancer becomes weaker and weaker because they aren't bothering to add any viability for PVP damage to Necromancer and is literally just oops all knockbacks and fear. The Extra wraiths being on chest is also horrible because you literally are trolling if you go into pvp without bone pillar.

no one should be selling their gems for platinum. They are obviously valuable and free to play need as many as they can get. They didn't add enough to the daily to make a difference for free to play and the gap most def will increase between FTP/low spender and higher tier players.

24:43 all that is is giving the whales more gems to purchase and a way of spending more money, on my server there is almost never anything except ruby for sale, everything is bought pretty quick, so for those whales wanting to spend money they can only acquire so much... i dont see this change as good at all for ftp, just a new way to fleece whales. i have stopped selling mine. given up on my legendary gems because to rank 5 them is just silly amount of money. their attempt of getting players like me to pay that bit more by adding the white wings when there is really no realistic gains i can make on my gems is sad... the changing of the rune system is nice but too little too late imo. needed to happen months ago to have kept me interested in their stupid legendary gem system

If diablo immortal wanted to gain and retain more players as an advertised “PVP” game they should make another type of battle ground where everyone fights on even combat rating. So like a baseline stat across the board. Now they could also implement something like World of War Craft pvp where you earn points through pvp to buy pvp gear. This should only be earned through actual pvp not p2w. Since this will focus more on “skill” and time. I guarantee it will attract more players to try it out and stay.

To my understanding, the Hidden lair update is much better than you said here. Currently all we get is 6 bound gems per day via Hidden lairs. Now that's being raised to 9 bound and 9 unbound just from lairs. That's on top of the 12 unbound per day from being in a full party. We're going from 12 sellable gems per day to 21 total. Or for those who keep all their gems, the max achievable per day is going from 18 (12 unbound from full party/6 bound from lairs) to a grand total of 30 (12 unbound full party/9 unbound lairs/9 bound lairs). This is a lot bigger. With such a difference, the supply may even meet the demand one day, and gem prices could drop.

@DM: Diablo Immortal with only 6 chests in each lair, and the gem drop rate diminishing after each one, my guess is it will take more like 5 lairs per day to get all 18 gems. Hidden lair parties will become a new thing. 4 people all running around in different areas, or different zones even. Then they all join in on whichever lair is found first, getting the gems from the lair chests, as well as hopefully a few from being in a full party.

Again, they caped gems 9ub and 9b, but also they make dificulty to get them all, in a day, you need to run over and over to tske them. Also, if they say 40 fishes total so consider it is also caped daly thst drop, after some time we will get lower revards. Its like chests from side quest they after resset drop dust, yellow and brlue items ,and after some time they just drop 1 item or nothing. And this is same case with goblin, after some you will just get gold, and with cursed chest after several your drob will be low but to be hones i didnt yet get emoty there with 2 dust yea but no empty.. this is only problem caps, i play mostly 6 lvl above paragon and yet i just geting ecxeptional 2 stat items 3 stat is spetial drop for me like just after reset i can get 3 stat in first fiew leg drops no mather origin, bestisry, or gambler buying, or a. Elite but best 3 stst itrm i get from ow and that is it but grind is like 1 in 50 or if you grind is 2cnd wave in day its like 1 in 100. But all is ok, except normal gem daly drop cap koncept...

All well and good that we won't have unused runes and more drops from rare crests vs legendary, but if you look at the platinum/hilt equivalent value for rare crests they are way less efficient in average gem power than legendary crests.

Rare crests are only worth .2 gem power vs 3 gem power of legendary crests (on a conservative average not including mercy drops). So legendary crests are worth 15 times more than rare. Rare crests only cost 5 times less hilts and 8 times less platinum than legendary crests, so it's still extremely bad value to use currencies for rare crests.

I don’t know of a single wizard that genuinely uses and enjoys this skill. It takes WAY to many set pieces to make it even *slightly* viable and then your other skills are being neglected.
