Nope, no more remakes. FF7 remake/rebirth was 99+% fluff.

FF7 "remake" was a boring lifeless "open world" with so many invisible walls. You can't even jump off any part of a basic cliff. It has yellow paint for baby gamers. What a boring lazy game FF7 is. FF6 and FF9 were far superior in every way.

​@@xil3ntkha0s actually I'm now playing through Rebirth and the game makes me feel very uncomfortable. It is not responsive everywhere. Hectic combat (not action, not tactic rpg, confusing and not fluid), slow animations, junky controls, bad UI, blurry visuals sometimes even on 30 fps mode on PS5, textures that are not loading regularly and look extremely out of place next to other hi res textures. Everything looks like it just doesn't fit together, in Rebirth much more than in Remake. Add Ubisoft open world that you largely ignore, useless ingredients gathering for crafting, and filler stretched out parts with forced bad mini-games that spoil otherwise interesting game -- and it's just killing me. I am forcing myself through it to enjoy the good parts (can't say all story and characters are good, but overall enjoyable, if at least for a high budget, OG ones probably were more cohesive). And it almost makes me to break down. But when I try to find what people say online, on most forums there is a toxic positive childish fandom that shuts down and harasses anyone who dares to say anything remotely negative. Overall the whole FF7R situation is very weird.

FFX doesnt really need a remake, it still looks almost as good as current JRPGS that arent Square Enix xD FF 6 - 8 and 9, Tactics need it most. With my money hoping on FF6

final phantasy 8 was no were near as good as final fantasy 6,7or 9 in my opinion. i really didn't care for the game at all that and final fantasy 13 was pretty boring to me as well.

remakes are not a bad thing like i always say if you want the og play the og let the people that like remakes and reimagining's play the games. their are more than 1 type of gamer in the world the people that don't like these games need to realize that.

sadly we may never see a remake of final fantasy 6. square says it would take just as much time to remake 6 as it did 7 and are unmilling to put in the time. also what makes you say final 7s world and story were boring out of curiosity what did you not like about the game i am talking about the og as i am assuming you are.
