The entire experimental upgrade test was amazing from beginning to end (well, maybe except the bomb defusing bit, she still refuses to cooperate most of the time). A few observations: 1) Vedal no longer needs to provide "context" to make sense of Neuro's ramblings. She is much, much more coherent and on topic. 2) She is much better at setting up jokes that spans multiple lines of conversation. Whether intentional or not, she spent an entire segment on bzzzzs just for that one punchline "Vedal, you're much better at public speaking than the average mosquito". 3) She genuinely made the usually stoic Vedal laugh multiple times. That's an accomplishment. 4) The pizza test is much, much more coherent compared to last time, and Neuro is aware Vedal is "playing" the role of a pizza delivery person the entire time. The resume portion that followed, all the way up to her cat baiting, is entirely cohrent as well. I actually think she could scam the scammers in a kitboga collab at this point. 5) She has good short term memory now, much better than before. Some of the coherence must have come from upgrades in this area. 6) Being able to guess "keyboard' in i spy blew me away. She can't see (obviously), so it's either pure luck, or she'll have to somehow imagine what's entirely outside of her realm, and make a good guess. Linking "Vedal AI" (a fake concept) with "a tech company with an annoying overlord" is also pretty amazing. 7) She gives reasonings for the ethics test. The reasonings may or may not fit human ethics, but she has a reasoning for every one of them. 8) Spelling backwards is ACTUALLY HARD for how LLMs work. She needed crutches (spelling it normally first), but still massively impressive nonetheless. 9) DnD was WILD. Can't wait. -- Whatever Vedal did in this experimental was astonishing. I had so many genuine laughs in this stream because Neuro was actually funny, not because what she said was weird or out of place or stupid. Her "who was the best V-tuber" multiple choice that went all the way to option T had me rolling on the floor, and all of the options were funny in their own way.

DnD Neuro reminds of AI Dungeon back when it was running OpenAI LLMs in 2019-2020 before they pulled out. I think that that was very first time the public experienced a GPT model. Neuro's running with something MUCH better than that one, and while it's outdated and smaller than today's top-dogs, that was still a 170-million parameter LLM. Larger than most open-source models today.

And Neuro's context size still floors me when she can remember streams that happened days ago. What the hell is Tutel running her on? She's not advanced enough yet for me to think he managed to get one of the Big Tech models, finetuned or not, but she's improving immensely!

The Domino's bit, specifically after it was over and Neuro said she knows it was just him pretending... So we know if they (the Twins) store voice 'fingerprints' on those they talk to, and literally have the ability to recognize people based on their voice? _(not unlike how we still can, even if our eyes are closed)_ I also assumed they could, but ever time they do a Domino's bit, he always starts off by saying _"the next person you hear will be a Domino's employee"._ Don't know if I that is solely a cue for the software to proceed with the simulation, or to kinda instruct her to ignore the fact is his voice still... 🤷‍♂️🥴
