Its great to see your review on this Aeon. I started into blading 4 months ago and my first one was the team duo 19 red Aeon. I have learned a lot from your videos. I'm 31 and so hyped into aggressive skating that lets say became quite addicted to the skates. From 1 pair, I'm right know with 15 pairs wich 9 of them are Aeons. I will be getting the Croft 2 too. This cuff best upgrade that could happen. Very curious about the Aeon soul plates being made. Currently I'm starting to learn grinds. I had to focus first on riding properly on the basics to prepare for the grinds. I could say I'm a wheel addict too. Keep it up. I'm from Puerto Rico. Blading and roller skating is starting to get popularity again.

Just got myself a pair. Haven't had a chance to skate them yet because of Covid lockdown (plus the weather), so just worn them round the house. First impressions are they feel more comfortable and more flexy than my old Aeons but the sizing feels slightly bigger too so I'm getting a bit of heel lift.

It was just the socks I was wearing at the time. I've skated in them since and for me they fit true to size. They're more comfortable than my last Aeons, especially around the ankles, and are more flexy.

I think I'm the only one truly hating the new cuff. There is way too much space between the cuff and the shell. I could literally touch my the laces with a buckle. It was horrible despite the cuff regulation. I changed to my old Aeon cuff and now It feels solid and does not bend forward. Just my opinion tho

I don’t understand why some people want ufs version of aeon skates, what aeon makes aeon is unibody concept and it’s light weight, if some one wants ufs mounting skates than there are other options on usd skates, like sway or carbon models or any other brand, and with oysi “wish” frames you can make very good flat setups (by the way I still don’t get it why we pronounce it as “wish”) so in the end we are in a very good era on inline skating particularly on aggressive, there are so many options and new ones are coming to market, someone is developing niche skates and they look promising, you can search it on instagram, maybe ricardo lino receive a prototype model and make a review about that it, it will be good

@@karmiccredit5875 the old chart said eu 41/42 was a UK 6.5/7. On the new skates, the recent aeon basic chart shows it as 41/42 UK 7-8. I recently bought a pinowski shell from Hedonskate, it was labelled as the old sizing but fits me perfectly. My left foot is a 42 (uk 8) and my right foot is a 42.5 (uk 8.5). The shell fits with a reign V2 liner in it. After being on the wrong side of a lot of shell breaks for a long time, I can confidently say anything they are labelling as a 41/42 is deffo exactly that. The length fits like any other uk 8 shell I’ve had. The toe box isn’t very tall which has the effect of making the skate feel snug, with such a slim foot that works out really well for me. I’m planning to get the aeon 72 xxi but I am not sure what size to get. 39-40eu and 41-42eu, my feet measure 256mm right at 40eu so I don’t know if I should a size just right or a bigger size. Can you comment on this? Thanks

Hi, iam looking to buy these Skates but my feet has different sizes! Left is 28,4 and right foot is 27,2. What size would you recommend, 10-10,5 or 11-12 ?? Iam actually would go with 11-12 but the skates get a liddle wider over time and my bigger foot could be compressed a little too because its a skin transplant that makes the foot longer. Iam a little concerned about the maybe loose fit on the smaler foot...

How do the Undercover Alu Cores compare to the Famus wheels? I would love to see a comparison review between the two!

Have both Famus are faster and UC is harder

Can you put 80mm wheels on agressive skates? I really like the style boots they have, but would like to have bigger wheel for being on the street an rougher roads. I usually RB on side walks but do have to hit street sometimes.

No max 61mm. But they do sell aeon 72 and aeon 80's

I'm new to skating thinking of getting a pair could you say what the difference between these and the USD Aeon 60 Nick Lomax Pro as it looks the same just different price and colour /color
@thiegoac3 жыл бұрын
I believe this one is Abec-9 and the cuff has a soft material. Also the wheels has a better quality. Lomax is Abec-7, different liner (good one too) and the wheels are very good but not comparable to undercover.

Hi Ricardo! I’m a subscriber and love your content. I need your help finding where to BUY these skates. I’m a US 12 and have searched everywhere. Where can I buy these where it’s safe / not a scam/ can ship to US? PS: I recently started skating again for the first time in 20 years, thanks largely in part to your channel! Keep up the great content!

Does the softtop have more flex than the standard shell?

Is there any real differences between the Aeon 60 team and basic version other than the liner and 45 degree strap? I'm asking because I'm just getting back into blading at age 43 with about 25 years off... but if the only real difference is the liner (I'm fine without the velcro strap), then if I really get into it I can always upgrade the liner later.
@apexpredator_jku2 жыл бұрын
Not just the liner. Basic is hard shell & Team has a soft skin on top which could make all the difference. The difference between the stock liner in the Basic & Skinny Boy in Team are night & day & will give you 2 different experiences. That liner alone is one of the main reasons in difference of cost.

Do the aeon 60 run small I wear a size 9 9.5 in u.s shoes what size would you recommend getting
@samstreet49043 жыл бұрын
I'm a 11 us and ran the 10-10.5 shell fine, so I'd say get the 9 shell, worse case you'll need to take the plastic insert out from under the liner, the liners have a full neoprene toebox so they stretch to the larger size. If in doubt order them based on your EU size as that's more accurate

i want to purchase the best of the best in aggressive skates, and in my opinion i feel USD AEON are the best. Which one would you say is the best skate from that brand i should purchase? I was looking like the new Nick Lomax, Aeon XXI and the all whites that came out. I am an amateur but i want the best so they can stay with me for a while.
@AlmostLakai943 жыл бұрын
The XXI or the Mery Munoz Aeons will probably have the "best" stock parts but they'll all be the same durability wise as far as I know

isnt it just modified xsjado 2.0 cuff basically? It looks like they tweaked the mould for it but not properly hence the gap at the back... powerslide are such a let down compared to other companies 👎😂

Despite the hype, the slow soul plate and the lack of replacement parts make this skate a bad choice for aggressive skating. Fact
@RicardoLino3 жыл бұрын
It’s your opinion and i respect it. The aeon it’s on his own thing. Less costimizatoin, amazing performance. For the slow souls, I agree, watch this space in a week or two ;) 🤜🏻💥🤛🏻
@mr.rodriguez50993 жыл бұрын
@@RicardoLino thank you Ricardo for your video and response! This could lead to a long debate but I think USD really should think about to make a UFS version of the AEon with changeable parts for it. We are in 2021 is not really acceptable and sustainable to bin the entire skate after 6/12 months. USD released 5 new skates recently but zero replaceable shells for the aeon (at least in UK) 👎👎
@morelove6193 жыл бұрын
@@mr.rodriguez5099 Almost all skates have frames that are like that, why not make a pair this style? The reviews have been REALLY good so they apparently this something really good. All skates dont have to be only for aggressive skaters.
@samstreet49043 жыл бұрын
Something like the shift mechanism from razors would be cool but a 1 piece soulplate frame peice. Modern form of the oldskool ideal
