Completely agree. Unfortunately the same can’t be said about the men’s team because nobody on that team possess an ounce of technical and tactical ability except for two Christian and Gio in my opinion. And here is the federation wanting for them to be the ones to represent the country proudly on the global stage just because the men’s game is the most watched and the most lucrative out of the two when reality all they end up accomplishing is true utter embarrassment😂😒. Also the federation has been around for more than 100 years and these guys can’t even compete let alone make it to the late knockout out stages of any major competition even if their lives depended on it😂they’re a joke.

Spain has won one World Cup, the sky is not falling on the USWNT. No teams wins forever. The US team last World Cup had many key injuries, stayed with aging players and was also poorly coached. It’s a new team and I think things are turning around. Please remember the US national team men and women do not get the same support as European teams get because soccer-football is not taking very seriously. It’s a second rate sport to the majority of us here. That all said don’t sell this team short and don’t get over confident.

They value the women’s team more from a performance standpoint than then men’s team. From a $$ standpoint, the men are more valued. Our women dominating the world in the sport for so long gave a form of credibility in the here and now as opposed to the men being a laughingstock for so long.
@G10-n7f5 ай бұрын
😐Exactly. Which is odd when you think about it because why would the federation be okay with the men being a laughing stock when they care so much about money I mean sure they get grossly paid a lot for just competing in big tournaments but eventually you would think they would care to make the team better since they are the “pride and joy” of the country because the men’s game is more lucrative, global, competitive therefore they are the most watched. Not to mention the federation has been around for more than 100 years so you would think they would get the team competitive to the point where they can compete in the latter knockout stages of any major tournament more often.
