A cabinotier was, in Geneva, a workman employed by a cabinet. A cabinotier was not necessarily a watchmaker. He could be a jeweller, engraver, stonecutter, etc., provided he worked for a cabinet and was employed in watchmaking.

Cabinautiers are reference to the small attics where were located the watchmakers that way they could have a maximum of light while they worked. Two great examples in the Patek museum.

I am very excited for the overseas in 35mm. Having a smaller wrist the 41mm overseas felt massive. Finally will be able to buy it since I find it one of the most beautiful watches ever made.

How are you guys not talking about, or even mentioning, the rotor on the first and fourth of these ? It looks like a circular rotor that's not attached at the center, but rather circulates on a rail outside of the movement, leaving it unobstructed. I'm aware they didn't invent this, but it's certainly rare, and it's the first time I see this in a mainstream brand (and I don't think any watch featured on the channel had this ?). I'd love to see one of these rotors filmed by you, these promo shots I think are always terrible - CG ofc, but also they move too fast. I miss watchfinder movement shots...

I find all tourbillion and open face watches really spoil the dials for me. In some cases they are quite ugly! I guess I suffer from OCD 🤣 The blue retrograde moonphase is the nicest piece here for me.

The numbers on the moonphase for the Overaeas feel a bit much. Would be much cleaner without them since most people don’t know the day of a phase of a moon, but rather the shape or even the name.

They run out of ideas and old classics to coppy, so they come with retrograde in the Patrimony classic tradition, what is not bad at all but they repeat it in Overseas sport watch ,what is . ...as rubbish as they can do .
