New Vatu Buffs Made Enemies RAGE QUIT! (Paladins Vatu Gameplay)

Vatu has been one of the strongest flanks in the game for a while when played at a high skill level, so obviously the best course of action for this flank is to... buff him? Yeah, in the Tidal Surge update, Vatu got buffs to his base kit and underwhelming talent Enveloping Shadows. Enveloping Shadows now applies its cooldown every second kunai throw, which is fair enough. But, his kunai now fire once every second and deal 30 more damage per kunai, or 90 in total! His effective dps remains the same, but that's not what matters with Vatu. His BURST potential just got skyrocketed, and his shadow bombs combo is now even more lethal. Vatu is a lot stronger this patch in the hands of a skilled Vatu main!

No run bloodbath instead...after round 2 and when cauterize kicks in the new rejuvenate SUCKSS ...its not enough to counter cauterize and I find myself over healing too much if cauterize is cleansed

EDIT: Sorry for the long rant, lol They keep missing the mark (no pun intended) with Corvus. He has a base kit design flaw (or flaws) that his normal healing has low range, so he has to stay nearer his team and be more vulnerable, and he has almost no utility/CC/debuffs/damage combos to counterbalance that, except when picking Stunning Visage, but Stunning Visage forces him to waste his escape in order to stun, so it technically makes its cooldown longer, in the sense that if you use it to stun, you'll have to wait a lot of time in order to have it again to be able to escape when you need it, so you usually either don't stun or don't escape. The new buffs to Stunning Visage finally make it a viable talent, so, still not much range, but at least he has stun/cooldown up more often when he need to use the skill for either option. If you pick Spreading Influence you have less utility BUT you have range through the double mark. If you pick Dark Gifts you have neither, I mean, you have plenty of buffs for allies, but that doesn't guarantee you'll be able to heal the whole team or protect yourself very well individually. *Corvus'* Abyssal Reconstruction heals for a total of 1250 HP, every 4s, and has a range of 120 units. He can reduce the Cooldown to 3s if he heals an ally that's marked, but that's only worth doing if you're using Spreading Influence anyways. *Furia's* Kindle Soul, for comparison, heals for 1400 HP + the Shield Card (more healing), every 3s (more often), and has a range of 200 units (virtually double, around 1.7x more range), Furia can also stun in her base kit, can deal damage with that stun, can reset the stun with cards, the same skill that resets the stun (Wings of Wrath) also deals damage and she has a high DPS (which Corvus also has, but Corvus doesn't have burst combos along with that, that's what I mean). *Mal'Damba's* Mending Spirits is different because it heals mostly over time, for a total of 1350 HP, but it does some burst and has a 3s cooldown, and virtually has infinite range. Damba also has the Gourd on base kit that he can choose to heal another ally or not, and can make the healing burstier if combo'd, while Corvus is forced to heal the marked ally whether they need healing or not, so technically he can heal multiple people but has to use the same cooldown that's slightly longer than the other similar healers, he can't save the more-healing for later and his "later" is slightly later than others. Damba has a stun on Reload, that has virtually no cooldown and acts as a 5th ability, and can stun using his ultimate to defend himself, and can (and should always) even combo both skills to CC a target for very long. Damba can also deal damage with the Gourd as well as comboing the Reload's Snake with one Cobra Spit. Other supports are harder to compare, but in general are better at healing multiple people on base kit, and/or have more range, more utility, more survivability (self-healing, DR, personal shields, HP, invincibility frames, whatever), more combos/burst, or more/easier-to-use/snappier mobility. I would either add Spreading Influence to base kit, or increase Abyssal Reconstruction's range, or lower its cooldown, or perhaps maybe even increase the healing over time on Dark Gifts to something like 150~200 HP/s instead of those other buffs (Jenos does 220 HP/s for comparison, which is already not much, but at least Corvus will provide the random 750-1062 HP burst when healing someone else, OR the 1437 HP burst if healed directly). EDIT 2: I forgot to mention that Corvus can technically keep moving his mark around to heal specific people more and with a lower cooldown, but the mark itself has a 2s cooldown and animation delay/lockout, so this is not exactly... I mean it ends up increasing the cooldown of the healing by proxy if you choose to do that when not using Spreading Influence. Decresing the cooldown of the mark could solve all those problems, as long as people are always moving the mark around. Also, I don't think Dark Gifts is very useful if you keep moving the mark around, so... more healing but not other benefits unless they rework the talent so that those benefits are kept for x seconds after the mark is removed, but that could also create other problems... EDIT 3: I forgot to add there's the Lifesteal card for the marked ally, but it has diminishing returns and, although it helps a little, lifesteal is very weak due to anti-healing anyways, so it helps just a little tiny bit.

@MultiSenhor I think a solid change to corvus' kit would be allow him to be able to mark himself temporarily (or with demishing returns)when he heals someone who is also marked..... cause he able to dish out alot of support to his teammates other than heals with reload speed, shields, and lifesteal (even though it kinda sucks but it is one of the only ways he can consistently heal himself ) it would be nice if he can buff himself with his own mark and give him more of separate game style from jenos

​@sak-atWork high dpi, low sensitivity setting in-game* Low dpi with high in-game sensitivity causes your aim to be jittery. I'm a high sensitivity person anyway, and vatu is fine if you just tap to fire instead of holding to fire. Once your aim is right, you'll warm up to using the bombs.

Instead of ambush, replace it with the bombs that are auto aim by default but deal way less dmg. The talent can ve replaced where it turns into a smoke bomb used for distracting snd blinding opponents for a short duration and right click should be a long range variation of kunsi throws like genji. This guys is just a shotgun character reskinned

you can kill a rly good Vatu but you cant kill a rly good Evie , as someone who plays a lot of tanks I prefer to have vatu against me rather than other people especially because the range at which he can damage me makes it possible for me to do the same with him (better than receiving a lot of spam damage from Meave or other people who I struggle to touch) it must also be said that vatu depends a lot on the map (on ice mine it is better to lose all hope there even Buck works really badly)

And of course his damage isn’t great from a distance, you HAVE to be in their face to get the most out of his damage. That’s why he has all that movement in his arsenal, to dive in and escape when need to
