Solid, well built vehicles. They have a few known issues but nothing terrible. The fluid filled motor mounts and oil pan gaskets are both common to leak. (Just fixed my daughters….7hr job doing both mounts and pan gasket) TIPM’s can be an issue on these. Also, soap the 90 degree air line fittings on your front air shocks, they tend to weep air with age. If caught soon enough, you can avoid needing a system recharge. The fittings are only $30-40 and are an easy fix.

Already replaced both the front air fittings and the driver side motor mount lol. But like you said nothing serious so far and we’re still loving it!

Looking into buying one this weekend. Do you know how much a tune up and spark plugs run.

@ronndadon4705 I think I paid around $60 for spark plugs off rock auto (there is 16 spark plugs 2 per cylinder). It’s a coil on plug so the coil packs should still be fine. And oil and filter about another $70 or so. I do all my own work so I’d say around $130 for plugs and oil change, that’s not including labor if you have a shop do it.

That's a very nice jeep. I have a 2012 5.7 2wd summit I'm currently building. I find it weird that ur air box says hemi but mine didn't. I replaced mine with a K&N system. I definitely want to see more of it.

I have the same jeep but the reason I bought it was that my 2005 5.7 jeep ran 300,000 km and the only thing I repaired on the motor was the egr and the belt tensioner and not one leak on the motor.

I have a 14 summit 5.7 and I love it got 183K but runs great no problems at all put synthetic oil every oil change last for another 100K

I have a 2014 5.7 got it last year with 70000 miles it’s been so awesome and well rounded so far I towed my whole house from tn to va it did great I’m at 91000 miles now

@@bobsilver3983 technically there’s 3. The 3.6 v6 the 5.7 v8 and the srt8 which i believe was a 6.4 v8.

@@ZPTVChannel I just bought a 2012 Overland today with only 64,000 miles with the 5.7. We paid $15,000 for it...a little spendy, but we wanted a low milage version. Very nice gold exterior.

No. The only problems we’ve had so far are just regular wear items like a motor mount and the 2 airbag line fittings on the front shocks.

It’s higher in miles for these I would definitely look it over real good. It’s kind of hit or miss with those kind of miles.. if someone took real good care of it and kept up meticulously on maintenance it’s probably fine but if they didn’t I could see some costly issues a little further down the road.

If it’s had the cam and lifters replaced already I’d say go for it! But if they haven’t been replaced I’d stay away from it.

I’m not sure I know they auto adjust when backing up and stuff but I’ve never checked to see if they’re auto fold.

No that’s only in the srt8 and track hawk. This one does have a sport mode and 4wd so you can still do 4wd launches but it’s nothing like what’s in the srt8 and track hawk lol

There are definitely some things to look out for. Like transfer case issues, and hemi tick are probably the 2 biggest issues with these Jeeps.

When in drive, you can move the shifter left/right to shift up/down. It’s small on the panel, but it says +\-

pretty rough lol, depending on the MPG you make it have, it kind of eats it up, and for me where i live, it's about $60 full tank ($2.89-$3.14) but she is definitely reliable and quickkkk. i love mine.

Ended up selling it a little bit ago because it needed the cam and lifters replaced… Was going to try to fix it myself but didn’t really have the time or the right space.
