These are a great idea (I wear too not for snakes mind but for ticks , brush and wet) Great review Max ATB Simon 🤠👍

These have the plates inside for snake strikes but they would help with the ticks, brush and the wet as well... Thanks Simon!

Hi Max. Nice to see you in the wild. Thank God we haven't encountered snakes so far and we're keeping our fingers crossed that we never will and we like climbing rocks where they can be found. Nice review as always and have a nice Sunday. Cheers. Sretana and Zac. 🖐😄🤗

So happy to see you out, Max! What a unique way to test snake gaiters! Excellent job! Hey, that's enough of a "stop bite" for me! 👍👍

Look pretty effective and thankfully we only have 1 venomous snake in the UK and I saw my first one last year, my friend just stopped me from stepping on it! If I was hiking over there in snake country I would not want to take the chance either to be honest, cheers Alan

It is a good precaution when bushwhacking in the desert. Thanks Alan

I know I've hiked through some overgrown trail. I pair of those would make me feel a lot safer. Thanks for the review Maxx.

They would get pretty warm in the summer but better than a bite... Off trail in the desert here is a good idea. Thanks 77!

Great review, Max! We love wearing gaiters, so these would be nice to have against the snakes. 🐍 Nice price, too! Thanks for sharing! 😊

I thought the price was awesome.. A little warm after awhile but better than a bight. Thanks TWW

Nice review Max. Glad we don’t need these in Norway. No really dangerous snakes up north 😊 Take care 👍

Don't need them here if on trail but when bushwhacking, not a bad idea in snake country. Thanks NHT

Didn't realise there was such as thing as Snake Gaiters, makes a lot of sense though! Only have a need for mud gaiters here in the UK...
@HikeCamp4 ай бұрын
Yeah they could protect from mud too... Maybe a little overkill for mud although they would keep the bottom of the trousers clean.er LOL. Thanks my friends.

Great gaiters and review Max! I came across a rattler on trail a couple years back and bought myself a pair of those bad boys!! (Different brand) I wear them in snake country and still watch carefully, but I feel a whole lot better about it! 👌🐍
@HikeCamp4 ай бұрын
I wont wear them on the trail but when bushwhacking in the rocks and high grass... Yep!

Well,as long as a snake doesn't have a stapler you should be ok,lol! Nice review my friend.

Even the staples did not come through enough to break the skin.. Thanks Jim

Never heard of snake geaters. But I guess it's smart to wear them. We don't have a lot of snakes and they're not dangereous. I like the staple test! 😊 Isn't it too hot to wear? All the best, Kaat
@HikeCamp4 ай бұрын
They do get a bit warm but better hot than bit... Thanks Kaat!

If you do brush busting in high grass or rocks or wood piles not a bad thing to do and Aders don't rattle like ours do. Thanks David.

I wonder if these gaiters are available on our side of the pond in SE Asia? Depending on what part of the Philippines you are operating in, you could encounter the Philippine cobra or the more aggressive Samar cobra. Both are of the spitting verity. I understand there are some King cobras here also but I do not believe they are an indigenous species. We will have to look into this product. Thank you for bringing this protective gear to out attention.

interesting product. Snake teeth aren't steel, so I bet their teeth are not going to pass through.
