The truely *broken part of Vindicator is that you basically reset the buttons you can press' every 10 seconds. So if theyre not killing you in the first 10s they're not killing you at all. 🤣

It's Subjective vs what you play. As an ele player with LONG CDs I get rolled by Revs 🤣. But my thief friends usually don't have a prob with em'. | Still I dig the build. Solid fun Brawler!! 😄

The part i wonder is: condition? I think the build is great but condition over power? Do you try the power vindi variants, and for you this build is better then the others?

@@knives5438 It's because you need the boon duration from the Cele, and the vit/toughness/healing power are what makes it such a beefy brawler. You could probably build out something similar with a mix of Diviner's & Toughness power gear. Revenant's condi weapons are more of hybrid's power / condi weapons than anything tho. And it's one of the few classes that can utilize 'all' of the stats on celestial gear effectively. 😄

Late to the Party but yeah Nayos is CRACKED. I've found that staggering your heal skills, so they are used mid-way-after you swap to a Legend helps the sustain on this a LOT. But yeah this builds is nuts. GJ dog.

13 conditions transfered + cleansed in small group fights is absolutely nuts. I'm glad ANet preserved the original functionality/theme of Malyx. Now if only Bladesworn was still fun at all... lol But a gurl can dream. #maybeoneday. ^^

Sure! Part of the reason I started this channel was to make using a Controller on GW2 more accessible for people, as it is really a great mmo for it! --- & --- I use 2 programs. Xpadder for general mappings (what you see in the corner) as well as REWASD - can also be used solo, but I mostly just use it to remap the elite controller paddles. | I roll through my bindings here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqezgKxqjMt3bdksi=v5GltyBEXnfkyPGG And this video should also have a download link for the Xpadder profile on the description! | REWASD is (or was) also free if you have a device with an AMD CPU (such as most portables). Mapping / launching can also be done through steam big picture mode. But I don't have a setup for this. Both programs DO work on Steam Deck tho if you launch GW2 as an executable in Windows mode. Hope this helps & lmk if you have any questions!! I recommend using mine as a starting template i.e. -> Triggers / Bumpers to switch control "layers" and pasting in your own keybinds, and doing something simpler like map comp while figuring out what bindings work for you where. Or at least backing up your GW2 controls config file. 😁 If you're only going to choose one, I recommend REWASD. It's newer (and possibly free ^.) But if you just want something light, easy, and also transferable XPadder is also a solid pick. You can also do mappings through SteamBigPictureMode if you either bought GW2 through steam, or launch the executable through there. But when I tested my setup (successfully) on a Steam Deck I launched everything in Windows' Mode. So I don't have much experience with the former. If you're talking in terms of "energy management" that is probably a better way to go about it for sustain, and if you have 4 on-swap sigils that will also work! really depends on your playstyle. Just make sure you're lining Vision + up with Short Bow Burst. 😄

I know this is a WvW build, and not sure if you pvp at all, but how would you build this for pvp if you were going to?

I do but the problem with current PvP is that it's so burst-heavy rn that a side-node basically needs true blocks / damage immunity in their kit in order to be effective. So yes the short answer is, unfortunately, I probably just wouldn't or would run a shield instead of the sword. Currently the music's at -22.5db and I'm at 10+ 😂 | I suspect since it opens with a hard high-note opener that song just comes through as sibilant' for people. It won't be identical. Most everything's weaker in PvP. But vindicator should(tm) output enough boons to still be fairly tanky with the same build. Altho your sigil of Vision' will only be a sigil of Intelegence' there. So you'll have substantially less ranged pressure. It should run fairly well with a Rabid or Carrion Amulet + Revenant or Dolyak Runes tho! ^^

@@gangrel1234np. If you find yourself still getting nukes in the high-burst meta that is GW2 right now, you can also try swapping to Herald. It plays largely the same and can use Glint, which trades some of Vindicator's utility for being a bit more tank-y. 😄

It's important to start in Dwarf + Maces and keep rolling your face on your keyboard. (Only kind of a joke.) -- Revnants of all flavors' essentially refresh their resources every 10s. So it's important to try to expand your energy by getting Hammers Up + Getting into melee range early and then popping Malyx + Shortbow 3 after you swap for that big damage pressure. | Keep in mind tho, ANet is removing one of the main components that makes this build work at all (the boon extension on-dodge Vinidicator grandmaster trait) next week. So probably don't invest too much GW2 money into gearing it out if you haven't already. Cele Rev will always be strong, tho, you just may have to swap the traits around.

​@@d.5688np. The boon duration on this (and many of my) builds is pretty important. So if you can't/don't want to shell put for Leadership Runes I'd try fireworks. -- There's a budget friendlier option in the desc. The big thing is make sure You're getting the full 2s of protection when you mouse over the Grandmaster in Salvation. If you go from 1.75s to 2s even swapping from Durability my guess is that you'll start being a more survivable because Toughness is fairly worthless these days. 😅

@@d.5688 Glad it worked out for ya! Even if Vindi Grand Dodge does get nerfed you can likely pull off something very similar with Herald or Renegade post-19th patch. All 3 specializations play relatively similar and are all pretty solidly tanky. 😄

Respectfully Captain, even though you're really not being so, I like your videos. But this is a terrible take. Not all broken builds* need to be able to do everything equally. Did Pseudo say that this had "amazing Daredevil burst resistance, or amazing sustain"?? Also I have no idea where you're getting the Catapult thing, but imo you don't need to be able to 1v1 Catapults fast for a build to be busted. Are you just taking it personal because he's doing videos on something other than Warrior or something? Lol That's pretty small if so man.

Yes. They altered' the Dodge Grandmaster to instead give flat (increased) Protection + Might duration. Which is nice that they didn't just delete' the build entirely. | & There's a HUGE amount of constant condi-cleanse on this build. So I recommend either antitoxin to compliment that or Karakosa wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Relic_of_Karakosa which is what I was running in this video, and which heals-on-condition removed.
